I felt bad, but at least I was quiet about it; coming in at 3am when we had class at 8. The roommate I had would always go to sleep around 1030 or 11 (not that it bothered me, I just thought it was way early). I was stupid back then, because I pushed procrastination to the ultimate level. Hang out with friends until 3 am, then get no sleep and do homework for the upcoming class at 8am (After having a whole week to do it). Coming in that late was the only thing that could have possibly upset my roommate. I always kept my stuff clean and clothes in the drawers.

I seem to have a major problem with procrastinating too. Everyone who knows me, know that I'm the queen of procrastination.
Reminds me, I have to do some stuff due ages ago.

Gahhhh work experience, it's so tiring ;-; I'm in the languages department of a highscool not far from my house(I took Spanish for GCSE, I dropped French at the end of year 9), this is pretty much what's happened:
Monday: "is it ok if you're in a yr 7 French class?" Sure, I took if for 3 years, I know some basic stuff(and wow I remembered more than I thought.)
Tuesday: "there's yr 9 Fench today." Ok, I'll try my best(I started to have a bit of a problem because it was a top set class.)
Today: "I have a yr 10 GCSE French group today..." *dies*
In the end I did some display work and stapled stuff to the walls :3

Ok, so all in all, work experience has been fun so far :)I actually helped some kids with some work and showed them what to do, but the classrooms I'm working in are so hot and stuffy -.-

I've known about that for a few months now.  DOn't even know how I learnt it...

Well a friend of mine is in the hospital for appendicitis.  She's scared as f***.  I really hope she has a quick recovery!

A few years ago a friend of mine had that as well. They did surgury, but the doctors hardly even had to cut him open. They made a small incision, and removed his appendix that way. He didn't even need stitches- they sealed it with some kind of organtic super glue.

I wish your friend the best.

I hope so too.  We're supposed to be going to camp together on Sunday for 4 weeks.  She'd be so disappointed if she couldn't go, and I'd miss her a ton.

Hey, um, so um, yeah, just got a promotion at work that takes me 10 miles closer to home (halving my commute) and gives me a $12,000 a year raise

I assume no, that or it was because we were at the top of the school building and warm air rises.

Utah reminds me of the backwoods eastern Tennessee area where there will be like ten churches in a square mile in a valley of 2000 people (the valley I'm referring to is around 14 square miles).  Only instead in Utah, they're all Mormon, and there are ten Mormon churches for a town with 600 people.

She keeps thinking the only reason why I want to go down to Florida is 100% because of my boyfriend. It's really pissing me off. I just want to be happy. That's all. Also, I want something to look forward to when I come home from college and he makes me feel so happy, and secure.

But anyways, We went to Taco Bell, and I decided to talk to my mom about everything, and let her in. Biggest mistake ever, like always. But yeah, I told her that we may get an apartment together if College Room and Board is too much, and she basically told me that I'm gonna turn out trashy, get pregnant, be unsuccessful, and I'm gonna have an abusive boyfriend. Wtf are you serious??? She said it OUT LOUD where everyone could hear her....

& when she told me that, it crushed me so much. I got so overwhelmed I just started crying. And she just laughed at me and called me a drama queen.  So, I just walked out. I'm soooo sick and tired of her putting me down. I'm so sick. I'm just ready to freaking leave. Can August just get here any quicker????

I can understand why she might have reservations (she's your mom, after all, and she probably doesn't like the idea of her daughter going somewhere where she can't easily reach her-parents are really amazing at worst case scenarios), but that wasn't right of her to say that to you. I don't think you were being a drama queen, because parents are really good at hitting it where it hurts? As your mom, she knows what will hurt you, and I think she knows that. I hope you can still patch things up though, since it'll be better to go off to Florida knowing that you can still confide in her. Three weeks though...you can do it!

I agree…Part of it might just be that she’s worried about you. It’s true that this is a time when you’ll be exploring your new freedom, but you’re smart enough to make decisions that are right for you!
