At home now, after training and dinner. Was the Day In-Charge, and it was so nerve wrecking... My feet are sore, and I still have a parade practice tomorrow. It's going to be so much worse.

Ah I caught that for a couple days too and then I was enjoying a midnight snack and suddenly realized how much better Game of Thrones is.

So.. I just stood up to my mom.
I told her straight up how I feel. I told her that when I turn 18, I'm gonna do whatever I want that makes me happy. I told her I'm GOING to Florida whether she freaking likes it or not. Ugh. I really hate having overprotective parents. It's a blessing and a curse all at once.

I'm as free as I want to be right now. I'm still living under my mom's roof because I have no job or income to support me going elsewhere. lol

My dad reads the books too. So I guess not. I dunno.

Dani, I'm the same! Since I live in a tiny state, my dad's can't be as restrictive as your mom, but he's barely okaying Boston, which for me is in the next state over so it's actually really a concession for him at all. He seemed okay about me applying for a college in Pittsburgh too, but then I remembered that his gf lives in PA, so he'd probably rather I do that anyway.

spent the 4th at my boyfriend's family's cape house. Spent the evening and night there. It was a s***ton of fun Very Happy

Had work today. Spilt 200 degree water on my hands. Not so much fun.
My sister's graduation party is tomorrow. It's gonna suck. I'm exhausted

You say that now but the day before you suddenly get all the nerves and doubts and you end up staying despite all the earlier protests. I've personally seen it happen before. I don't really understand how that makes her overprotective:?:

Sorry for playing join and ditch- had final exams, then my dad had me come to work with him for a week or so (honestly also have all of the art/writing blocks right now).
2:30 am. Really shouldn't be up so late considering tomorrow.
My family's having two parties this year, on was on the 4th, the other tomorrow, and my dad's waking me up at 7.
