Hello everyone  My holidays just ended, and I just finished my first day of school. Somehow, I was hyper, even with less than 3hours of sleep to night before.
We had a terrible haze situation a couple of weeks back, but it cleared up a week ago. Haze during the holidays, and it clears before school reopens. Wonderful.
 I'm in my country's National Day Parade, in the Red Cross Youth contingent. We have trainings every Saturday for a whole day. It's tiring, but worth it. Our last rehearsal was crazy, out of the 49 people in the main contingent, 11 couldn't take it, and fell out. I managed to stay on though!  
So much has changed since I last visited XL, and all I can say is WOW! Great job to everyone that helped or contributed

Been getting rained on hard over here in the East Coast. Also have to redo my house's network setup and a lot of landscaping. It's going to be keeping me busy but I'll do my best to stay in the action.

Rain rain rain. The only thing I hate about living on the East Coast. Thunderstorms. EVERY. SINGLE. DAY. Ugh.

Lol, I know Florida is the top state in the US where most people get hit by lightning
North Carolina, however, is the 3rd top state.

So yeah, not much of a difference. Lol.

Florida's also the #3 state for tornadoes.  That's probably because of cold fronts and hurricanes.

Tornadoes don't really bother me to tell you the truth.
We got hit by a massive Tornado in 2011, My side of town was unharmed, thank you lord. However, the manager at where I work at now, her house was demolished by it. They just now got everything built back up.

Our power company strikes again, if you pardon the expression.
The power flicked off and on three times and now the whole street and the street behind us are out.  My mom's trying to report it, but apparently the electrical company has taken their contact and reporting information off the website, so now my mom's pissed.  This is like the 3rd or 4th power outage in the past month.

And the waiting game begins.


Dani: I'm not sure you get it.  Orlando, just the city itself, is the lightning capital of the world, not just the US.
Late winter and early spring can be beasts with the cold fronts.  We rarely like never get snow, but the tornadoes that come with the storms, ....
Last year there was supposedly a tornado in the next town over, but it must've been weak and short-lived because the most damage I recall hearing about were broken tree limbs and a few fallen power lines.  

Edit: My mom just got off the phone with the power company.  There's an estimated 2k people without power right now, and the earliest they can get it back up and running is sometime in the morning.  This doesn't work for us because we're having electricians over at 8am to rewire the lights in our kitchen.  I hope by "morning" they mean like, 2am, or at least not a minute later than 6am.

A habit I need to stop.  Texting while driving.  I know it's stupid, risky, selfish, and dangerous.  And I know you can die because of it.  Which used to be the whole point.  Now it's a habit I need to break.  It's hard, just because I'm always worried the person I'm talking to will stop talking to me if I leave for an extended time...

We had a really bad thunderstorm the other day that blew out the cell phone tower nearest to my house. Kinda made me mad, because I had poor phone service for a few days. Thank the lord for Wifi! Lol.

ugh yeah, it's been raining a ton lately, and we ended up putting off renting a lakehouse since we didn't want to be stuck inside all day for five days. it's nice for the grass though, and it makes our lawn look really nice!!!

I don't like florida's weather, but since they're adding onto HPLand in 2014, I'm definitely going down for another visit in the next couple of years

Ugh guys, I need your opinions on something. Cya already knows about this, but I want to see what you guys think.

Okay, so I had this friend. We were really cool and stuff. He was going through some depression though. I sat down and listened when I could, But what really confused me... It was over the most pettiest crap I've ever heard. He said that he was depressed that his parents were arguing, and that his YOUNGER brother was picking on him. And he's almost 19 years old. & another thing which I can relate to myself: He cries because he has a scar on his body from where he had to get surgery. and he said that he shouldn't be alive and all this crap. Eventually, that's all we ever talked about was him and his depression. I honestly don't understand it. I gave him advice on how to cope with his so-called depression, but he shot down everything I suggested. Then one day, he messaged me and said that he performed some self-harm on himself. That's when I reached my point of giving up. It seemed to me that he didn't want to be helped, that he what he wanted was to be miserable. So I finally stood up and told him how I really felt about it all. I told him that life was too short, and that he shouldn't dwell on such petty little things like that. I told him that life was gonna knock him down from time to time, and that it was his choice to either be miserable, or get back up and show it who's boss. I also told him that it was beginning to annoy me because that's ALL and I mean ALL he ever talked about was his problems. Then...
He flipped crap on me, & said he was done being friend and all this other crap. He said that he helped me out with my problems, which I can't say he didn't, but I didn't go on and on and on about them on a daily basis. I mostly forgot about it the next day. I tried to help him too, but he shot down everything I suggested. Now he's turned almost all of my FF friends against me besides you guys, and such.

Did I do the right thing?
I need you guys' opinions. Be honest too.
