Re: General Chat: May
If it’ll knock down & wash away all this pollen, bring on the thunderstorms! On the other hand, the first few weeks of May are the only time it’s warm here & not insanely hot…
Re: General Chat: May
I think we're supposed to get rain here today. It's been nice to wash away the pollen. I wouldn't mind some sunshine though. Spring heat is nicer than summer heat here for sure.
Re: General Chat: May
It's hasn't rained here in NH for at least a week if not longer. The town I live in is on the top of a giant hill, and whenever there is a thunderstorm we go to this area where you can see all the surrounding towns. The view there is excellent!

Re: General Chat: May
I want some thunderstorms! Hell, just anything to get rid of this pollen, they cut the grass on school field today so I've been dying Dx
It's actually kinda warm at the moment, it's a bearable pleasant heat and I'm gonna start crying when it gets warmer -3- especially when I'm in my school uniform.

Re: General Chat: May
I think the pollen is really bad this year…Even my parents are bothered by it, & they don’t usually have spring allergies…
Re: General Chat: May
Although it's technically spring, over here in the south of England it feels like we've skipped straight from winter to summer. Bloody British weather.
On another note, three-day weekend. Woot! Hooray for Bank Holidays!

Been relatively ok here in the middle of England, at least I tihnk we'e the midlands....we aren't really far enough north to be in the north :L Although it rained for quite a while yesterday, but it was really annoying because it was really humid too. I hate how humid it gets here.
And ikr Enzo no school tomorrow!

Re: General Chat: May
Huh. North/Midlands can be tricky. There should be a word, like- like Northmids, or something, if you're not sure where a place belongs...
Anyway, vaguely where in the Northmids are you, Koneko-chan?

Re: General Chat: May
I'm in Lincolnshire, the agricultural place that most people have never heard of, we also happen to have terrible internet and mobile phone coverage unless you're in one of the cities hell Lincoln itself is just a combination of the 2 universities in it -.-
Re: General Chat: May
I grew up in Ceredigion, the sheep place that nobody'd ever heard of. You get a lot of places like that in Britain. *bonds with Ko over Britishness and isolated surroundings*
Now I enjoy living in West Sussex and going to school in East Sussex. Lots of people, lots of decent services. Pity the roads are so nu uh none of that.

Re: General Chat: May
It's funny that a lot of places here are named after places in England haha.
"Nah, our "New England" is better; lets give our towns the same names, they will be even better towns!"

Re: General Chat: May
So, one more week of school from tomorrow.
the oficial end is this Thursday, but finals.
I should be doing homework instead of posting here, but eh well. I have my acrobatics class tonight, so I REALLY should be doing calculus right now. My average in that class is an A, but it really depends on the finals and of course THE HOMEWORK I SHOULD BE DOING NOW!
Also, I need to step up my game in bio for these last 3 tests, so I can get an A. History is almost nearly out of my hands, because at this point it relies heavily on my latest essay, which is already turned in. I have a French final on Wednesday (not looking forward to it.)
But I should be doing ok. There were a few points this semester when I honestly thought I would die (thanks to all of you for putting up with my depressed, suicidal rantings). I'm fine now, and school is almost over. I swear, I'm gonna play ALL the Mass Effect 2 and Bioshock Unlimited when I get out.

There are lots of people here, but for the most part, they're students from one of the universities/colleges that are here and so most things that are here are aimed at them and people their age -.-
Go to the beach my parents said, it'll be fun they said, it doesn't matter that it's a bank holiday they said =.= Really? You'd got to the beach on a bank holiday with good weather? Granted I had fun, but the journey there was painful. Normally it'd take just under an hour, it took 2 hours thanks to all the traffic. It was also painfully busy when we got there.
Re: General Chat: May
Aw damn, traffic sucks. I love driving, but that sounds like hell

I miss Dr. J. He was my therapist, and I could use a therapist right now. My good mood has disappeared. I have never hated someone so much, and she doesn't even know I exist

Re: General Chat: May
It was hell and btw, if you need to talk Cya I don't mind, not sure how much advice I can offer, if at all, but I can at least listen ^^;
I'm curious, does anyone know how important/useful it is to be a member of MENSA? Because we took the test at school a while ago and I got offered a place, I didn't take it but I've got a letter through again asking me, should I do it?

Re: General Chat: May
I don't really have any good advice, since I've heard of it vaguely, but we've never taken tests for it or anything at our school so I can only give you vague advice. But maybe try emailing universities to see if it gives you a leg-up on your application? (like, the only reason why I even bothered to apply for NHS was because it makes your college app look better) Aha, I hope the other members can give you better advice.
I honestly have no idea how the college life goes, but I know that you do take courses at a college, and if they have them, maybe seeing one of their counsellors would help. Real-life support is super important for when you can't access the internet.
