My Mock Trial Competition is today. I'm quite nervous right now.

Shakespeare is SO ANNOYING to read. The words are hard to decipher since you have to keep looking at the footnotes, and the sentence constructions are just plain weird. He's been growing on me though, especially after we had to read A Midsummer Night's Dream!! I really wanted Titannia to get back with Oberon the whole time...which was probably not the take-home message.

Good luck on your finals, Naru! And you too, Pasta, with your Mock Trial. I'm sure you guys will do fine. Or, in Naru's case, have done fine on them.

I've performed a monologue from hamlet and it really is hard -.- don't get me wrong the guy was brilliant, he made so many new words and stuff. I do love A Midsummer Nights Dream and I don't mind Much Ado About nothing(think that's right) but I don't really like Romeo and Juliet. I've studied it so many times, I'm bored of it.

I've enjoyed my share of Shakespeare. I think what's important is having someone or something help you understand it very well because it can be a bit confusing at times.

Well I feel really good about my finals. But I gotta say, I came in for my math final late, and yet for some reason I was the first person to finish. I sat there for like a couple minutes wondering, "Either I skipped a page, royally screwed up, or I'm just that good . . ." Needless to say, I'm a bit on edge about the final, but hopefully I did well.

My team won this tier of the competition . I'm incredibly happy today. One of the judges complimented me specifically on my acting ability when I was playing the pathologist.

Best Spanish lesson every yesterday(I feel almost bad for saying that xD) We'd done our test that we always have on a Thursday and our teacher was about to start teaching the regular lesson when the German teacher from the class next door came in. We were expecting her to ask for a board marker or something like that but, in one of the most casual voices possible, she said "excuse me, but the ceiling has just collapsed on 3 boys at the back of my classroom." Our first reaction was shit someone's dead/unconscious, turns out it was just the plaster that had come off. My friends finger got cut, another boys shoulder got caught under a lot of it so it ached a bit and the other boy was just really shook up because it landed on him most.
The reason I put 'best Spanish lesson' wasn't because we're all sadistic people, but our teacher left the classroom and we were just left alone to do whatever the apple! we wanted...it was interesting.

Edit: note to self avoid using apple!

We're getting our PSAT scores back tomorrow. I'm so nervous. It annoys me though that people in some states can get a 209 and potentially qualify for National Merit, while I have to get at least a 217 to even be considered.

On the bright side, maybe everyone in my state will do horribly and the cut off will be changed to 200 or something. Yeahhh right.

@Kay; omg. I'm glad no one got hurt though! It reminds me of that book Lord of the Flies. Leave a group of teenagers alone and what are you going to get...!?

I got my PSAT's back yesterday.

I'm somewhere around the tenth percentile for my year. I'm pretty happy.

I'm in first mod now. I'm leaving school early today.

Just got a 76 on a sociology test. Oh well, she'll drop that grade anyway. But it does mean that she WON'T drop the 88, which I needed. That's 2 B+s factored into my final grade, which means even if I DO ace the final, it's unlikely I'd get an A on the class

I don't know what I have in any of my classes this semester at the moment. I lost my password for my grade checking site. I'm in physics now and we have a sub. This class doesn't even matter to mee. It's not the science I will be learning in college. That's chemistry.
