My English teacher may have gone a little crazy (but luckily she recovered).

We came into class and she was like, 'I'm going to change your homework assignments for the rest of the week from what it originally was, because some people might have had problems with it.

We would have had to, by Friday, read six chapters of the the book (that's one fourth of it) deeply analyze twelve quotes from it that would relate to symbols we chose for the paper , design our own symbol, write a 1-2 page paper on said symbol, and answer/create questions for a in depth questioning thing- which means searching and finding examples and quotes to go along with it. We also would have had a quiz. On top of all the other homework for all the other classes, and sports.

So yeah. I think some people might have had a problem with it.

Luckily, she changed it, so that was pretty alright.

uhhh, Shadows, just a tiny problem If by tiny you mean sort of kind of freaking horrifying. This isn't college-related, but like, when I was bored jk I was trying to hold off on writing my lab because I hate writeups, I did some googling, and apparently some countries have less homework than us but they just have better schooling. Just sayin'; I think our teachers need to take note of that

Part of the reason some countries rank higher than the US in education is because they don't test their ESE students, or so I've heard. The US does.

I've heard from experienced people that college is very difficult and the work load is tremendous. This may sound strange, but I'm excited to see what work I have to do. Is that weird?

But college is really all about time management. For an example, I... *looks at unfinished essay, still not written down interview, due presentation dates...*

College is all rainbows and butterflies my dear. I am quite experienced too. Procrastinating for four years now.

I'm excited for college even though the work will be more serious and difficult. I'd like to say I'm ready but I'm sure once I get my first assignments ill be like...woah

I'm starting at a community college, then when I get my associates degree, I'll transfer to a more prestigious college. I'm currently looking at the University of North Carolina at Pembroke.

I'M AM SO HAPPY! My English teacher gave us back our rough drafts (that 11 page research paper) and even if I don't make correction to it, I'll still pass! I no longer care about anything anymore! I'll still make the corrections though. Doesn't hurt to get a better grade, right?

Classes are officially over for me, and now I just have to take my finals. Overall this first semester of college wasn't too bad, but that mainly because most of my classes were core classes and pretty much reviews of what I learned in high school.

I'm ready for Christmas break, but if I could do that without next semester coming that'd be fantastic. Next semester is the semester where Shadows gets rid of her study hall (we can only have two semesters of study hall during the entire four years of high school).

So, I went and took the ACT today.

I finished every section with time to spare. Except for math. I didn't get to 13 of the 60 questions.
I was just going to Christmas tree the rest of the answers after I finished each of the other two portions, but they had the proctors walk around to see how many bubbles you'd filled in after each test, and if previous sections had been changed then we would've been dismissed and not scored.

This suuuuuucks.

Biology test tomorrow ;-; first lesson too. How am I supposed to stay awake, first lesson on a monday and I have a biology test.
Dnace performance on the 19th, so damn nervous, I can perform poetry and drama in front of over a hundred people but dance... =.= this is also our assessment for it too.

Does anyone know how to use LoggerPro to make titration graphs? I've got the data in, but I can't figure out how to make the dots connect so it actually looks like, you know, a graph.

And I'm looking forward to the end of the semester too! Except not really because I have American Lit, which is easier than Brit Lit, but still horrible. It's scary how quickly this year is going though.

Got my math and government finals tomorrow! I feel prepared, or rather I know there's not much I can do about it now. The only thing I hate is that I gotta do my math final at 7 in the morning. UGH!
