Not really. As far as school, I have a chem test tomorrow. That's not going to be fun. Ummm, I improved my class rank by four spots since about this time last year- that's exciting. I scheduled my classes for senior year! If I can get into all of my first choices, my schedule would be something like...

AP Bio
Organic Chem
Honors Physics
AP Calc
AP Eng
Hon Econ/AP Gov (each one is a semester)
Study Hall/ Medical Terminology (each one a semester)

Sounds like fun. But my schedule this year is pretty tough as well. Also, swimming is finally over! For now. I should start club season pretty soon (technically I could have gone back as early as Monday but I need a bit of a break).

On another note, I'm freaking out about my Spanish speaking exam

Heh, you should imagine the rumors that go around whenever we have implicit lockdown for some unspoken reason.

By implicit lockdown, I mean those rare times that the administration sends emails to the teachers not to let kids out of the classroom for any reason but not to act like it's a lockdown, and then kids try to leave and the teacher freaks out or the kid gets yelled at by the janitors but isn't told why.

My school had a test lock down a few days ago. It was really annoying because I was starting to freak out and panic at anything that sounded like footsteps, while the seniors in my class were whispering amongst each other and texting on their phones despite being told not to.

I get very annoyed during my math class. It takes everyone else nearly 3 times as much time as me to do problems and it takes me. That's what I get for going into advanced precalc instead of honors precalc.

Darnit now I feel like I'm bragging. I hate it when that happens. It makes me feel narcissistic. I hate feeling narcissistic.

And then you have to take Calc 2 before you can take Calc 3.

I might be taking Differential Equations (Diff EQs) over the summer if my college decides to offer it.


My teacher offered 20 points of extra credit if we watched and took notes on the State of the Union Address and the Republican rebuttal. So that's what I've been doing for the past hour-and-a-half.

Yeah, I'll finish Calc 3 when I finish high school, too.
I haven't watched it. I'm not really into politics (I know, that sounds stupid).

I had to for my AP US Government class.
Well, actually it was for extra credit, and I definitely need it in that class.

Extra credit is so nice. I had a big bio test last Thursday, which apparently a lot of people fails (about half the class got Ds or lower).
I got a 96, and 6 of that was extra credit. If I didn't have the extra credit, I'd have had a 90, and an A- isn't a good grade to get on the first big test

90 is much better than a 44, though.

I got a 44 on my first test in this calc 3 class. My mind went blank when I sat down to take the test.
Fortunately the teacher will drop the lowest grade and replace it with the final exam grade.

Ouch. Yeah, I know that feel. I should study more, I'd do a ton better on everything if I actually studied.
Meanwhile, I have three classes today. The middle one was cancelled. On Monday the last one was cancelled. On Friday, I don't have the first one. but what's the point in cancelling my middle class?!

More snow, kinda hoping for no school but I know that's not gonna happen -.- actually I think it's just turned to rain so yea. I'm almost hoping for my cold to get worse so I don't have to go tomorrow because I really hate Thursdays, they consist of; history, chemistry, physics, English and Spanish; tbh I think it's the double science that puts me off and the fact that one of them's physics, but it's half term next week, a week off and then next term is only 4 weeks long

Our school only offers calculus at a local college (very local- a block and a half away) or AP Calc. So not a ton of choices, and I think I've mentioned this before, but the average on the AP Calc exam is like, a 4.6.

I got a 5 on AP Calc BC and AB, and the Calc 3 I'm taking is at the community college.

I'm the only high schooler in my class. For real.
