AND IT DOES!! In exam season next year, I'll have roughly 18 exams, some lasting 2 hours and that's just in exam season, in this school year I also have early entry English in November and a week of mock exams('practices' of the 18 for exam season) in December.

Oh it's fine put 2 years worth of work in various different subjects right at the end of the 2 years and if we fail then we've inherently quit being a pottymouth everything up. Yea it's fine I'm sure we can all handle that and not break down its cool.

Sorry to moan like this, but I find it really annoying and stupid, I could've done some of those exams last year and passed, like the 3 core Science exams.

Jeez. I hate how stupid administration for educational facilities are most of the time. Like seriously, could you have made it ANY MORE INCONVENIENT!!! I can't believe they would put all the exams at the end of the two years instead...oh i don't know...spreading them out over that TWO FRICKEN YEARS!!! Oh no, cause it makes much more sense to make every sit in one spot for 36 hours rather while you test them on stuff they learned a year maybe even two years ago.

I KNOW!! It's the science that bothers me most. People doing triple science started in year 9(a year earlier than everyone else), we could've done the core exams back in May when those doing double science sat their first exams, but NO instead we're going to have 9 exams in May next year. Hell, we could've done the core exams at Christmas last year, and the additional back in May, leaving us with the just the 3 exams for extra for May next year.

D: That's really a ridiculous amount of exams. I'm pretty sure I've already told you this, but we have at most eight exams at the end of the year, and less if you have APs (since APs have different exam times spread out during two weeks in May, and if you've taken an AP exam, you're usually not forced to do a final in June too). 

School is going pretty well for me so far, since I have friends in all my classes, and I think I'm doing well in most of them, but I'm super scared I'll fail Physics! Bio is really easy, but so far we've only been reviewing chem, so maybe that's why.

omg thanks! I have a mini physics study group on facebook, but I'll definitely remember you if I need any help.  We're working on vectors so far, which doesn't sound complicated, except there was this horrible problem where you were only given the avg velocity, the two velocities, and one distance, and you had to find out the other distance. I ended up looking on yahoo answers, haha, and eventually I got it but we always seem to have mostly easy-ish problems and then one or two really hard ones (can we just say thank god for yahoo answers)

I love those problems!!! I love vectors!!! It's pretty simple, if you take the average velocity and the two specific velocities, you can extrapolate the net velocity that it should be following. If you then take into account one of the directions that it's already going, you simply pair that direction with it's velocity and then from that you can find the difference between the net vector and the one direction you were given, the direction that the first direction has to go to reach the point of the net vector will be you second direction. Check it against the velocity it should be going and if it brings you to the point of the net vector, then you're all good! ^_^

Well, don't be like me. You have to actually do the work at some point. I think I've wrecked my GPA now because I never ended up doing half of the work (or turning in what I had done because pride says I cannot turn in something unfinished and imperfect).

We have mock exams starting in a few weeks and all the art students have a sort of real exam on the 12th-13th and everyone who doesn't take art gets those 2 days off as study leave. My friends all think it's really unfair, and I agree, but tbh with how I've been feeling lately any extra time off school is just great.

And damn I'd get the last day of term off if I didn't have a quit being a pottymouth chemistry mock, my hatred for that subject is growing.

Looks like I'm gonna get an A in my English Language, maybe an A* depending on grade boundaries, but my literature isn't looking so good.

My controlled assessment essay is a B, one mark lower and it would have been a C, so I have to redo it, but I really don't feel like reacquainting myself with Hamlet and Macbeth again and rewriting the whole essay under a different title.

And I'm so annoyed because we were in the second to last lesson of our history controlled assessment today and the fire alarm went off and now I have 1 lesson to finish this paragraph, write another and do my conclusion. I really want to miss out my last paragraph, but I can't because without it my essay will probably come across as really biased ;-;
