I have a cold and it SUCKS.
Want to know why it really sucks?
I have two concerts this week, plus sectionals leading up to it, two basketball games, and (worst yet) two assignments that are due tomorrow morning that aren't even half-finished.

Last time I had a cold I slept for sixteen hours straight (woke up for an hour to eat), drank a gallon or so of water, and it was gone in four days and it was great. I was home then and didn't have any academic or musical obligations.

I hope you feel better! Try to get as much sleep & drink as much water as you can!

I'm sorry I haven't been on this as much as I should have. I got busy with school (I mean not making the deans list by a few points means that was my hardest semester) then as soon as we got back to school I had to deal with the musical. But hopefully now I'm back!

I never go to Disney unless somebody gives me free tickets. Even with the Florida resident discount it's still too expensive. And there are too many people and not enough adrenaline-boosting rides.

So in other news, I'm going to be in the Carolinas and Georgia sometime next week with my university's band! No specific details yet (we get our official itinerary tomorrow) but we will be in Hickory, Fayetteville, Savannah, and possibly around Atlanta barring bad weather. If you're around, you should come see us. ;D

Meh, I just have no way currently to disney...YAY NO LICENSE! Next Friday is also in my hands :3 The first time home in two months....AND NEW ANIME GAME OUT FOR THAT MAGICAL BOY ANIME I'VE BEEN LIKING SOO MUCH!

I like epcot. We go once a year, same weekend as the Orlando Trans Siberian Orchestra Concert, which we also go to. This year, we ate at Tokyo Dining, which was a truly transcendent culinary experience. Also, I just got over a cold as well, 3 days out of work. It sucked big time. @Snickie, my sister was in band for many years, and I was for a few, that'd be awesome if I was in the area, but alas, I'm stuck in PBC

I'm what you'd call a Disney maniac. 5 am-12 am every day I was out doing things. I could tell you hours and hours of usesless information about the parks.

Wait, I must have missed this post...BUT SNICKIES IN UNI/COLLEGE BAND TOO! Yahoo, I'm not the only one! What do you play? (I'm assuming if you're traveling with the band then you're in it so feel free to kill me if I'm wrong ^^')

Ours is really small, but we are a small college. I was third chair two years ago of three clarinets, last year first chair out of one, and this year first chair out of two. Clarinet is my main, but I did learn a bit of piano, taught myself flute, and played in drumline for a bit...And I'll shut up now.

Ohmigosh I play clarinet too! Very Happy

I'm playing mostly E-flat in band this semester. I also take flute lessons on the side, and my university requires you to learn basic keyboarding at least so there's that too. I also did indoor percussion (front ensemble) for two years in high school and alto saxophone in jazz band all four years. Band nerds unite! Mr. Green

If anybody is in Mount Pleasant, SC, we'll be there on Wednesday at Wando High School. The concert is at 7pm.

So when we were in epcot this year, we walked around the park all day. I had horrible blisters on my feet, when we returned to the port orleans riverside, I had a few drinks to take the edge off the pain. My friends and I then decided (in our intoxicated state) to go to the jacuzzi. It was 40 degrees outside, and absolutely some of the most fun I've ever had. All of us drunk, running around in swimsuits only in the freezing cold, sneaking around security and acting fools.
