Yikes…I hope everything works out ok! (You can ignore my post in Random Facts, since you explained your finger here…)

The only thing I want to add is that if you’ve been “active,” you should probably see a GYN regularly in addition to your general doctor.

Well I took two tests.... One came back positive and the other came back negative....
BUT... I started my time of the month today.... So.... I don't know. Haven't had anymore strange symptoms.

I get my stitches out tomorrow. So glad.

Bump.

There was a huge storm here yesterday. At 9 am, the sky was midnight dark, and 70 mph winds were blowing. Lightning hit the Mississippi River (as in the water), power lines, and houses. Tornado hit downtown, and a cyclone sprang up on the river and threw two train cars into the water. After the power went down at school we were sent home. 10 roads I tried to go down while bringing my friend home were blocked by downed power lines or trees, and we almost hit one of the wires.

My house, of course, had no power, as my luck would have it. And we didn't get it until 2 in the morning. So I spent 5 hours in a McDonald's, using their wifi and power. I found a copy of the now-discontinued Bad Special Edition while stuck in that McDonald's, since it was so conveniently located in a Walmart. So there was at least a little light to the situation.

Literally the most stressing day of this school year so far.

I partially took down a network with over 200,000 users on it last week at work. I'm lucky to still have a job.

I've heard of instances where people would have their time of the month within the first month but still be pregnant. I'm not sure how common it is.

Maybe you were but then you miscarried.

Or maybe you were just having a weird month.

Possibly. But the weird symptoms have subsided.
Also, I haven't noticed anything different with me or my body. If it turns out I am, I'm sure it'll come to light, but I doubt I am. So yeah.

32 on the ACT.

I'd be so happy about this if I didn't know I got a 26 on the math part and could've gotten like a 34.

I took the ACT once, without studying, and I got a 32 (Reading 33, Math 26, Writing 33, Science 35). You can bet I was pissed lol

So I made the Dean's List. :DDD

How do you guys get into writing mode? I only ever have a few random passing ideas anymore, and I can't seem to make the words come.

One thing I’ve learned is that forcing words out is generally not a good idea (unless it’s a school paper with a deadline). Try to develop your idea in whatever way you want, & if the words aren’t flowing, just come back to it at a later time or move on to a new idea.

I seem to get a lot of inspiration from watching TV/movies, but that’s just me…

I've been watching TV for a while now. Perhaps I ought to rewatch CL. Maybe that'll get the juices flowing.
