Anime and Manga

I'm actually shocked this hasn't been made, and I've been trying to step back from making it (since I know I won't be active here very much; I'm don't really read or watch manga and anime), but I think it's about time we had a thread for this.

One of my friends used to be really into it, and I had this phase where another of my friends linked me to an anime series. Not going to name it, but let's just say it was a very romance-y, really girly one. With that being said, I don't really know how to start this topic off. So I'll just say that while I don't watch or read any of that anymore, I have been meaning to watch Anohana, ever since Queen told me how heartbreaking it was. That was ages ago, but I swear I'm going to finish it someday.

What have you guys been watching/reading lately? What are your favourite animes and mangas?

I love anime/manga! My favorites are Ouran High School Host Club (Kyoya!..*ahem*), Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, Bleach, Cyborg 009, One Piece, and a bunch of others. I'm currently watching Durarara! and catching up on Bleach (the anime). I've also read all the Black Butler manga (to the currency issue anyways.) I also like Hetalia, but sometimes it's a bit crude for my taste. I also like Dengeki Daisy.

I'm like Beelzubub because was so damn funny...also i more into action show like Naruto,Fairy Tail, Hunter x Hunter and Rentel Magica.

Note- I'm magical nerd so don't hate me for liking magic and fantasy creatures.

Fantasy creatures are awesome! I like HunterxHunte and Death Note too.
As for romance, His and Hers Circumstances; Honey and Clover (this anime is so realistic and human it's scary!); Tora Dora; and there's a few more that I can't remember.

Oh! The Tenchi Series is great too. And if you like jazz, then Kids on the Slope (Sakamichi no Apollon) is a must watch.

I went to a pre-con meet today, it was good. A group of us sat down and had this weird discussion about yaoi xD I don't even know then we got onto Hetalia totally don't know where that link came from what are you talking about >.> and I had yugioh cards thrown at me, one of them has an awesome owl on it with a cape it's so cute.

Magical and fantasy anime are great Felin(still trying to get out of the habit of calling yout Kitty) I love Fairy Tail, hence my sig.

And I started watching Bleach a few days ago, it's seems pretty good so far.

I don't know how I forgot Hetalia. It's really funny. And I've been reading the Fairy Tail manga, but I'm only on like chapter 13. From what I've seen so far, it's pretty good. It's funny and light, and it sort of reminds me of the vibe I had when I first started watching One Piece.

Eeee, I don't watch/read it, but the relationships in Hetalia are so cute. <3 The big brother/little brother dynamic between some of the countries always looks hilarious.

It's not as cutesy as some of the other ones, but all the tension comes from romance. ;u; I thought this was up there as one of the best books I'd ever read though. Ah, how times have changed.

I did like Vampire Knight, it was one of the first mangas I ever bought if I remember rightly, but I at a point I got kinda confused because so much was going on at once -.-

I think I read up to book 7 in Vampire Knight. The first manga I read all the way through was Full Moon o sagashite.

I haven't finished an entire series of manga yet, I've almost finished Host Club, I just have to buy the last volume and read the last 3. I am up to date with the Fairy tail manga though, I'm enjoying and the latest episode xD what a great way to start the year Fairy Tail, with fanservice and shipteasing.

I've finished the Slam Dunk and Beck mangas, but I sort of cheated because I just picked up from where the anime left off. When it comes to vampires, my favorite anime is definitely Hellsing. Alucard rules!

Psh, if we are talking anime vampires, Trinity Blood all the way. As for my anime, I have the crunchyroll app on my ipod, so I watch alot of weird anime, which never got popular in the us. I am currently watching: A Dark Rabbit has Seven Lives, Dantalian no Shoka, Tegami Bachi Letter Bee, 07 Ghost, Usagi Drop, and Sword Arts Online.

I also have two anime that I watch as a bit of a guilty pleasure, and I have listed them separately. I watch Captain Harlock, the great granddaddy of Shonen. And I watch Futari wa Pretty Cure, the first great Magical Girl series.

Really sad the Muv Luv anime is over. A fan of the series and they don't translate to English fast enough >.>

Just watch episodes 22 and 23 of Code Geass. I am so done right now I just no =.= why must characters die ;-; I mean that was entirely unavoidable imo, though I suppose it was necessary to the plot.

I guess if I don't like characters dying I shouldn't have picked an anime like Code Geass to watch xD oh well, I'm still really enjoying it and I keep seeing similarities between Light Yagami and Lelouch, I mean they're both angry/bored teenagers who want to change the world and are given a god like power

I've been watching tons of Sword Art Online Lately, that's a really good anime. MY brother says that the internet is saying that it's superior to all anime or something, I really like it, but I wouldn't say that it's that amazing. Maybe...

Confirming Guren Lagann is great! A different flavor from the traditional mecha I devour, but stilll awesome.

I watched Gurren Lagann until they took it off Netflix, they take off good shows way too freaking much. Like D. Grey Man. I hate Netflix!

Fairy Tail is going to stop airing at the end of this month right in the middle of an arc. I am so not ok with this ;-; as far as I'm aware it's just a hiatus to let the manga continue since the anime's catching up but still. Please just let it be a hiatus I don't want another anime where I have to continue by reading the manga.
