Liz nodded. "Me neither. I want to tell Jeremie that I like him before he dies."

Liz blushed. "I thought it was Jeremie."

""Uh, I need to go." Jeremy said, shoving the phone in his pocket.  "I have an emergency to.... take care of."  He quickly walked away and ran into the building.

"Uh.... I think I need to go, too." Jake said.  "Got some writing to do and I think I lost my wallet."

Liz looked at Jeremie and Jake. "An emergency at the same time? Can I help?"

"Uh, no." Jeremy replied.  "It's... a family issue.  I need to go to my dorm so I can see what I can do."  Jeremy left the group and headed for his room.

"It's my... father's wallet." Jake said.  "If I don't find it or remember where I've put it, he'll kill me."  Jake left quickly as well, following behind Jeremy.

Lyra shot a suspicious glare towards them, "you know, this isn't the first time those guys have suddenly ran off somewhere," she glanced at the other two, "well then, who's up for a little adventure?"

"I AM!" Jonathon got up out of bed and fell over immediately.

As everyone rushed to help him up, he jumped up with no problem.

"Just kidding! I'm perfectly fine now....i think."

Jeremy entered his room, sitting at the desk where his computer was.  He entered in his personal password and opened up a personal program.

"This isn't good." Jeremy said to himself.

Jake was in his room, tearing through his items in search of a very important item.

"Man, if I don't find it, he'll kill me." Jake said to himself, panicking.  "C'mon, where is it?  Time is of the essence."

Jonathon, Liz, and Lyra all snuck up the stairs and eavesdropped their conversation right outside Jeremie's dorm.

"Jake, what makes you so sure that you're wallet is in here?" Jeremy asked while staring at the screen. 

You tutored me in here yesterday,  remember? ?" Jake reminded him.

"Oh yeah." Jeremy replied.

"Wonder what Jeremie was talking about when he said this isn't good" he whispered to Liz and Lyra, "didn't sound like he was talking about the wallet."

Damn!" Jeremy cursed.  "These readings... these aren't normal"

"How do you mean?" Jake asked.

"Look, it keeps rising and falling." Jeremy explained.

Jonathon was really curious know, readings for what. He peeked in, on the computer he just saw complicated stuff and this one symbol that kept showing up over and over, like a target with legs.
