Re: Which character do you relate to best?
Every time I see this topic I'm like, "Aelita! Aelitaaelitaaelitaaelitaaelita!" But that's a complete and total lie since I probably nothing like her. It's true my dad spends a lot of time at his computer, but it's not for work on a super important project. It's because he has MS and can't do very much else unless my mom and I dope him up on painkillers. (That and he just plain doesn't want to do anything else.) I can't relate to Aelita's pain of losing her parents because it's never once happened to me. I can sympathize, but not empathize. We're both smart and love music and computers, but the details are different.
I can't really relate to Yumi. I've never really had boy trouble (mostly because I choose not to have boy trouble), although I have had a stalker similar to William. I suppose that's relatable. My parents have a pretty good relationship, although my mom doesn't like that my dad sits on his computer all day and usually ends up doing all the cleaning. I like the respect that her parents command from her, similar to my parents. I don't have any annoying kid siblings (or older siblings either), but spending time with my cousin when she was younger makes me somewhat able to relate. I've never had the culture difference thing whatever that Yumi gets, although it's funny sometimes to watch people debate over what race I am (are you Asian? (apparently people think my eyes look Asian. My parents don't get that at all.) white? Mexican? Idk!!! lol). I don't get the best grades (though that comes from me spending too much time on XL :s ), but I'm a good student, so....
I change my mind. I can relate to Yumi pretty well.
I'll add more later, because my phone battery is dying.

Re: Which character do you relate to best?
I mostly identify with Jeremy and Aelita.
I identify with Jeremy due to being quite smart. I also can relate to how he can't really fight as well as his friends. I know martial arts but I am in no ways strong. My upper body strength is quite a bit less than other people. I also had few friends as a kid and can relate to how it is hard for him to relate to his peers.
I also identify with Aelita. I sort of know what it was like when earlier in season 2 where she didn't really get a lot of social rules and could talk to her classmates originally.

I guess I identify mainly with Aelita - good with grades and stuff, but absolutely no clue about social rules and whatnot. :/

I identify with Ulrich and Yumi for some reason. They're both a mix of my personality and traits and sometimes a little dash of Odd finds its way into me. XD

Re: Which character do you relate to best?
I'm not going to say this just because he's my favorite character , but I have a lot of the same personality traits as Odd. I enjoy making jokes a lot to lighten the mood, even if it sometimes upsets people. I'm not the most dedicated kid in school; I'd rather stay up all night playing video games than doing my homework. I don't have the same mood all the time; even though I'm usually a happy person, I can get upset from time to time. Another trait, somewhat funny, that Odd and I share is our inability to be very successful at dating women. I'll play it off like I'm the coolest guy, but in all honesty, I'm not very good.
I have one older sibling, but I can't relate to anyone that's had one of their parents go away for a long period of time.
I'm not a genius at dealing with computers, but I do know a great deal about how they work. In that aspect, I can say I relate to Jeremie a little bit, not a lot though. I was really friends with everybody throughout school, there wasn't one specific group I hung around with.

Re: Which character do you relate to best?
I did spend some thought on the question, but didn't really come up with much! This is a cop-out answer, but I relate to all of them in different ways. But I wouldn't say that I really see myself in Ulrich, Odd, Yumi, Aelita, Jeremie, or William. I can see bits, but nothing that stands out.
The closest I can get is with a mix of Yumi and Odd, I guess? Odd likes to laugh and make jokes, and Yumi cares about schoolwork and family, and is a bit more concerned with...life, if that's any way to put it, lmao.

Re: Which character do you relate to best?
I agree that I can relate to each of the characters, but I probably relate the most to Alita. I know that a lot of people see me as naive (in some cases, they’re probably right), sort of like how Alita was in Season 2…
Re: Which character do you relate to best?
Sissi?
Even though recently I'm not single anymore, I still have a fierce relationship to the girl who's always pined after a guy, only to have this new girl show up and snatch him away.
It's a common trope:
Sissi, Eponine, Amneris, just to name a few off my head and I ALWAYS relate to them best, they're usually my favorite character, or at least up there.
I relate with falling for someone and having them treat you like you don't exist. And I get how that makes you really LANGUAGE, how that makes you feel like no one really likes you. How even if you see people who do like you, they're not important or they don't matter or they don't really think that, because you're not important until that ONE person you're obsessing over says you are.
More than says you are, makes you believe you are.
And until then, you're gonna do whatever you can to make them see you and not let anyone get in your way.
Now if that one person who matters above anything not only ignores you, but consistantly mocks you, makes fun of you, and is just downright MEAN to you, then it's just gonna make things worse.
So I can identify with that, even now.

I relate to Jimbo the most because it feels like I'm always dealing with children and they think I don't see them acting really suspiciously. I'm also way too cool for the too minor role I'm given.

I also kind of identify with William and Sissi because I always feel like I'm on the outside, missing the joke, being excluded. Also I don't have quite as many sisters as Odd, but I still have two, and they're both older than me. :/

Re: Which character do you relate to best?
I think I relate mostly to Aelita. She's a bit shy sometimes but really friendly once you get to know her. (At least, that's how I think of her) She's really gentle and sweet but can get tough when she needs to. And that really describes me..
But I can also relate to Odd too. I'm always cheerful and happy.. (Well, most of the time) But I'm not the best in school. I procrastinate a lot and sometimes I'm a bit over dramatic. I love the arts and I'm always fooling around. I love to give my friends a good laugh when they're down and .. I guess I'm kind of.. careless..?
But yeah, that's all... I think.
