What Would Your Character Do If

Title says it all... Would your character ever do__________. You answer the question the poster above you asked as if you were one of the characters. Then you would leave a question for the next poster.

I find doing this great help in my writing by putting my characters in a situation that I would have never thought of. Example:
Random poster:WWYCDI they were locked in a room all by themselves, with no food, water, or anything.

Myself:Aqualin and Kaitlyn would both have a mental break down and freak out because they hate being in closed spaces. Aqualin would probably scream and see if she could get out by either growing to insane sizes or using her water powers and starts throwing either heavy snowballs or make a lock pick if it was locked from the outside.

WWYCDI if they had a deep secret revealed in public?

WWYCDI they had the option to get a genetic mutation just so that way they can accomplish their mission?

He would take that chance in amost a heartbeat. No price is too high to accomplish a goal.

WWYCDI they were forced to choose between their friend's life or a stranger's life?

Friends life, without a doubt.

WWYCDI they suddenly woke up without the sense of hearing?

Aqualin and George would be fine with it because they could still navigate using their hearing, and sense of smell to navigate.

Vena would have a bit more of an issue, but then she could use the way that the air currents move to tell where everything is. Along with smell.

Kelly could sense the vibrations in the earth, so she is a bit better off than Kaitlyn who would just be completly screwed over.

WWYCDI they found themselves in the middle of an earthquake?

If she found herself in the middle of an Earthquake, she would find the person she was supposed to save (or make sure a specific person isn't saved), and then book it out of there.
If she wasn't given a specific task, then she'd try and save as many people as possible, before getting herself out of there safely.

WWYCDI to complete their mission, they had to kill a friend.

Odysseus definitely wouldn't do that. She always places a friend over duty, I think, even when it's not the best thing to do sometimes.

WWYCDI They were suddenly expected to battle their best friend?

Funny how that scenario happened in PHM. If possessed, obviously a battle would have to happen, and the character would have to overcome their doubts and fears about hurting their friend.

If it's somebody who's not possessed and joined of their own free will, they would probably negotiate first, and if that doesn't work, they would have to fight to convince their friend that their on the wrong side.

If it's something not so serious like a Poke'mon battle, just have a friendly handshake before the battle and fight the best the person could do.

WWYCDI if the character had to confess their feelings/secret?

He would go to his family, such as his sisters, or even his close friends about the best way to approach it, and he would take their advice with no second thoughts.

WWYCDI if a close friend/family member of his/hers died?

Well, Rita's not home yet, but she would've been sad b4 Dark Room. However she never experienced grief, so this would've been new to her.

He would first confirm it and then if true, he would use them to their fullest extent to forward his own goals.

WWYCDI their mentor/master did horrible things in the name of teaching a lesson? Would you forgive?

Absolutely in every way. She's convinced of her mentor's omnipotence, and has always supported any method of his to teach or to achieve goals.

WWYCD if they learned that their parents weren't actually their parents?

Cassidy would have a mental breakdown. Blake would wonder where his real parents are. And Rita would have to figure out where they are with Thomas by her side.

Cassidy (even though panicked) would try to find a sharp object and cut the ropes off her so she could untie her legs and get the gag off her mouth.

Aqualin would probably run and hug them if they were friends or family. Or shift into her Pandryl form if it's not and make herself an DNA Bo staff.

She would have the guy who's crushing on her in crazy worry; and she herself would be stressed and most likely quiet for the next week or so.

Well she has a ton of times previously, she'll be fine. She'll just find a place she can lie low until she can regain it or knows enough to start a new life. She'll also talk to a lot of people.

Annette would've been freaked out, but not that surprised. She already lives in a place where the government is corrupt and is run like a dictatorship.

WWYCDI they were almost caught in a gang fight.

She would probably take out her oponents. She rarely travels unarmed and is trained to fight.

Probably nothing actually. Maybe take advantage of future knowledge in influencing future events, but otherwise George isn't particularly interested in the folks.

WWYCDI they had to put their trust into one other person? Who would they go to?
