I happen to have, in my possession, two books on John Wilkes Booth for theater class.

We had to pick a biography of a performing artist and I was in the library and this conversation happened.

Me: "I wish we could just choose any biography, I would seriously love to read about John Wilkes Booth."

Mom: "Wait..."

Me: *stares at mom* John Wilkes Booth was a performing artist, wasn't he!? Like, a really well known actor which is why he's some of those pictures with Abraham Lincoln!!"

Mom: "Yes!"

Anyone found any good books lately? 

I've personally been reading the Kate Daniels series. I don't know if I really like the romance in it, but thank god it doesn't really feature/is a really miniscule part of the story. The books are mostly focused on the plot itself, and I love the worldbuilding. Good worldbuilding is the best.

I've also been meaning to reread the HP series again. I've read some criticism of it, and I'm curious to see if it's as good as I thought it was. My reading taste has definitely changed since I last read them, which was a couple years ago. A couple years is still a long time in terms of reading though.

You! You're looking for good books yes? Well look no further because the Leviathan trilogy are the books for YOU! I won't say anything about them because you might judge a book by it's reader. Also, I might go crazy with the explanation and make it sound crazy because they're SO AMAZING! Anyway, look it up, then read, then post. Bye!

Are they steampunk novels written by Scott Westerfeld? I just want to make sure before I dive into them! Just the word steampunk (on Wikipedia) caught my eye, though I won't read any further into the article. I rarely read books or watch anything without spoilers (I'm also the type of reader who skips to the end...), but I want to try it for once!  

I'll totally post after I read the first one!! I'm always excited to read and talk about books.

Ummm, yeah I guess you could say it's steampunk. At least the Clankers are, oh the Clanker art is amazing. Actually, all the art is amazing. Don't worry, Clankers isn't a spoiler, it will be explained on the very first page of Leviathan.
