Re: Movies
BAMthreadrez
Today I opted out of vacuuming the house by convincing Mom that we should watch a movie other than Edward Scissorhands (which seems to have been on a lot lately). So we watched Edward Scissorhands and then dug into the pay per view archives and pocketbook for the first two Terminator movies. Which were awesome but especially the second one.
And then we watched Pitch Perfect.
and after that it was three hours of Rehab Addict and Love It or List It. -_-
But at least I didn't have to vacuum today!

Re: Movies
That's a lot of movies Snickie xD
I finally watched Star Trek today and agfsajhfdhsjfd I loved it and not just because of Benedict Cumberbatch >.> It was just really awesome, I have to admit I'm surprised I liked it as much as I did, because whenever I watched Star Trek with my dad when I was younger I got bored after so long. Now I have to keep my mouth shut about the movie until my dad goes to see it on saturday.

Re: Movies
I might watch it in the next few days. I have to watch The Hangover 3 and Star trek first though.
So far, not that many great movies, but the rest of the year promises a lot.

Re: Movies
I saw Into Darkness. Admittedly, mostly for Benedict Cumberbatch. But it gave me feels and emotions so I went back and watched the first Star Trek AOS and it gave me feels and emotions.
Also. Chris Pine's eyes.

Re: Movies
I watched Monsters University, and it wasn't as good as Monsters Inc, but it was still cute...I went with my friend and a friend of hers, and we basically made up half of the non-parents/little kids in the audience
I also saw Man of Steel too!! Henry Cavill was really hot, and I felt like there was way more action than there needed to be, but he was hot, so...

Re: Movies
Monsters University looks like it could be cute but I dunno.... I've seen some of the previews and I don't like some of the interpretations of characters' former selves. I'm trying to decide whether or not I really want to see it.
Re: Movies
That's kinda weird, Kelly. You wanted less action? They took their time building up for it imo.

Re: Movies
I like action, but it seemed like it never stopped once it got started? like jseus christ, I get it, the city got destroyed and you're beating up the bad guys, but then after the action, there wasn't much falling action, if at all. it was like they built up to it just barely enough so that they could have pure action and then quickly cut to "hello this is life as we knew it except the feds know I exist and have superpowers ok".
now I really wanted to see This is the End and World War Z. I'm definitely not a horror fan, so The Purge is a no-go. I think I'm going to try to watch every movie in theaters this summer that looks interesting, since I missed out on so many good ones during the school year

Re: Movies
- Spoiler:
- I actually agree on that point. I recall joking with my friend when Superman seemed to jump from one fight to the other in an almost comical fashion either destroying the world engine, saving his mother or battling with Zod's subordinates and Zod himself

I saw "Monster's University" last night and it was so good! It was also really adorable and I loved it ( :
Re: Movies
I finally saw Pitch Perfect a couple days ago. it wasn't as good as I'd thought it'd be, but I still liked it. my friend is coming up in a couple of weeks, so I'm dragging her to see This Is The End with me! hopefully we'll also catch The Heat because Sandra Bullock is one of my fav actresses

Oh my gosh, I want to see "This Is The End." I love Seth Rogen. Tell us how it is when you do see it!

Can we all whine about how dumb of a title "Pacific Rim" is?
