New Crossover idea...sorta

Alright, so I started a new fic called This Small Town but I've pretty much lost interest in writing it. So I'm thinking about deleting it and writing a HP/CL fic.
I know, I know...it's been done before. But none of them have been done in an essy way. ( ; So I was just wondering, would it be a good idea to write HP/CL fics with basically the same plot as the normal series but use CL characters? I have some of the characters roles picked out already. But I'm not sure if I should try this or not.
Help me figure out what to do pweez?

(I'm also not completely sure if I'm allowed to post this here or not...)

For the sake of awesomeness, let's say that this is allowed here. After all, it does involve Code Lyoko. =)

I personally think it sounds like a really cool idea. I know that some crossovers can turn out to be kind of cheesy, but I have faith that you can do this very well. ^_^

Thanks for thinking it sounds cool. I just wasn't sure because the crossover has been done multiple times. I've already started it and I think I'll upload it to see what happens. ( :

I think it sounds fun! You should definitely link us here and put it in your sig too (and make a banner if you want since that tends to get people's attention). I'll definitely read it after I finish my pile of fics. But HP is really perking up my interest. I can't help it. It's really involunteery to love HP and want to read/about it every single day of your life.

But yes, after I finish at least one of Angel's stories (which I still have to read Pretty Hate Machine), I will definitely read it!

Harry turned around to see a box with legs coming at him. In their confusion over the Blok, niether notices the Krab sneaking up behind them. Just when they were about to be attacked, they heard a horrible squealing noise.


They turned to see what it was. Dobby was on his knees, looking to the sky, and singing, or at least his best attempt.



Suddenly, the ground of the Krab was on disapeared and it fell to its death in the Virtual Sea.



"Dobby, what are you doing here?" Harry asked.


Dobby turned to smile at Harry, before running to push the Blok into the Digital Sea. "Dobby is needed here, sir!" he said. "And Dobby must apoligize, but he must go deactive the tower from the evil Xana."



Harry looked in confusion as Dobby went to the Tower and disapeared.



What, no one else think that? But seriously Es, I think you should give it a shot. I love HP and I Love CL, so it could be interesting. But just make sure you're careful because crossovers, however you cut them, can be tricky.

Oh, great, are we going to have wizards with practically no defense on Lyoko?!

No, no, no! I'm not having Lyoko in this fic. I'm having Hogwarts. And you can't very well have Hogwarts and Lyoko in the same fic can you? That would just be weird. Like I explained (unless I didn't explain good enough) I'm planning on having the same plot as the books and movies, like there's no harry potter. Instead there's Jeremy (because I've decided to have him take the place of Harry) Get what I'm saying so far? And I'm going to mix up the character rolls a bit and what happens in the books so everything doesn't happen the exact same way. Understand what I'm trying to say?

I got that perfectly, I was just pointing out to Heart how having the HP characters in Lyoko could work out well. Well, well in my opinion anyway. It's really my bad since I went offtopic.



But seriously, I don't know about you guys, but I would pay to see Voldemort go to Lyoko, try to take over, and get devirtualized by a Kankrelot or something. (Still offtopic, but...)

Bahaha! That would be...interesting. He'd probably get them to join him in with the final battle. Then you'd see all these krabs and bloks running all over the Hogwarts courtyard.

Yes! And Dobby (who I see as surviving and having Aelita's job, because that would be hilarious- Dobby, Code: Lyoko) would run around and chase them. Neville would trip over one or something accidentally which would cause a chain reaction helping win the war against Voldemort and McGonagall woud jump on top of them, taking a record number out.

And then Kreacher can creep in out of no where and jump on a krab! Oh Neville was adorable in the last movie though.

Oh yes, Kreacher! And Mundungus can go face to face with a Megatank. And yes, Neville was adorable. And completely cool, I love how he got the (semi-most important task) of getting the last horcrux.

Oh, Mundungus Fletcher. I mentioned him in the first chapter of my CL/HP crossover. ( ; And I know! Adorbs...

You know, if I ever have a lazy day, I might write that out (especially Voldy getting devirtualized), not to steal from your CL/HP story of course, and I probably wouldn't post it, but just as a creative writing activitiy.



But to get us back on topic, I think you should try it out. And it would offer you a ton of interesting ways to go becasue different characters deal with things differently, you know? LIke how Jeremy reacts wouldn't be how Harry reacts and that could change parts of plots and stuff. If you plan it out, it could be pretty amazing.

I really wouldn't mind if you were to write that out and then upload it. I'd actually like to read it. If you do write it can you send me it if you don't upload it? And I want to send you my first (or first few) chapters of this crossover before I upload it. Then you can tell me what you think of it, would that be fine? I might send it to Kelly too....

I don't even know how that'll even work, but the simple concepts that two awesome series can be blended like that intrigues me beyond words.
