Have I ever told you that I have a secret (or not so secret) adoration of Western stories. Like, a huge one (I'm not even joking, I once looked at Harry Potter Western stories and found one by the name of "Ron the Cow"- go check it out if you don't believe me).

So yes, I vote that we all do Westerns next week (and since I'm the one making the prompts...)

...Or maybe not, who knows?

Okay, next week will be Western, that's decided, please don't turn the Lyoko Warriors into farm animals (I'm not going to say you can't, because I'm all for freedom of expression and I don't agree with Machiavelli on everything), and don't start writing it yet, even though you know what it is! (You can start plotting though, though that defeats the purpose- I make the prompts and I don't even know what I'm going to do with them until sometimes around Thursday night).

I'm proud that I posted mine a before Friday. Score. Though I really don't watch Westerns (even though I do have a small obsession with Western fanfics) so I was really just guessing with what sounded right.

I realised I have absolutely no idea how to write a Western. I've never seen one that isn't a parody. I might take a bit of poetic license with this, if I may. Still, great work you two!

I don't think any of us do. Just add horses and some guns, throw in some alcohol, maybe a Mexican Stand-Off, and there are some other thing that you can add that push the boundaries of political corectness. But still, whatever you want.

My first thought was a bar scene, but I seem to have been writing a lot of things that start with characters in bars lately. Not that I'm anti-alcohol or anything, but I'd rather not have drinking as a main recurring theme in my stories.

I finally came up with something for this (got out of bed to write it even XD) and it incorporated one of my favourite seldom-used characters. Yay! I honestly really enjoyed this challenge. Definitely one of my favourites so far for forcing me to think outside the box and stretch my imagination a bit.

I played more on "standoffish" than "standoff" but I think the drabble goes with the prompt anyway.

That was really good Snickie. Very creepy, and convincing as a nightmare. Not to mention that's exactly the kinda dream they'd have.

I really felt bad for poor Aelita.

I used the best inspiration that I could get for this drabble: a 2-hour nap! During which I dreamed about some weird crossover between Hunger Games, Code Lyoko (Jeremie and Aelita were in it), and real life. It was really weird. But it gave me enough material to Aelitate it (I just made up a new word!). It took about ten, fifteen minutes to write. So for that to have an impact on people is pretty awesome. Thank you so much, Cya!
