When I try to talk to someone and they don't respond for a while and you go and look at your conversations only to find that you've literally been talking to yourself, it's incredibly disheartening.
But I was worrying a bit too much, he just literally had no cell reception for days.

Hi guys, I'm back again!
I'm much better than I was before. Way happier and confident, as well as self-assured.
It's been a massive change from the beginning of this year, and I hope I stay this way!

Today was rather upsetting though, due to a rather out of hand 'discussion' on homosexuality. The fact that the 'friend' I was 'discussing' with is queerphobic makes it way worse.

I hate intolerant people.  I gotta deal with that to a slight extent with my family, which is why no way would I tell them that I don't exactly identify as straight XD

Everybody is entitled to their own opinion, even if that opinion is intolerant. The only thing you can do is be tolerant, & hopefully, one day, the voices of tolerance & acceptance will be louder than those that hate & judge…

I’m not saying that you have to tell them anything if you don’t want to! I’m just saying you don’t have control over anybody’s thoughts or actions other than your own…

Then again, I’m a bit of a push over who has a very bad habit of trying to make everybody else happy…

So classes and finals were over two weeks ago today. Then on Wednesday night I did some recording for an audition for a summer music camp, and the very next morning my mom and I made a twelve-hour drive to go see her younger brother, who has cancer and has 6-12 months to live, and her parents, who are taking care of him. We were there until last Tuesday, which is when we drove back. I was never close to my uncle, but it's hard and weird seeing him with oxygen all the time and hurting too much to go anywhere that isn't his recliner for any extended period of time. The stay was stressful. The drive both ways was stressful even though we had good traffic the whole time... twelve straight hours in a car is just too much.

In the meantime, my mom has been dealing with a whole bunch of stress at work and worrying over whether or not she would have a job. 16 May was when she found out that she would still have a job, so she's happy about that, but one of our close friends might lose hers.

That night we had to deal with the idea that our eldest cat didn't have long left, and we tried on Saturday to get a vet to come out to put her to sleep, but she couldn't get to us and so she came to us and did it yesterday. We buried her in the backyard and cried and got sinus headaches from crying so much. It was hard but she was ancient and she could barely walk and she hardly ate and she was just ready to go.

So the past month has been stressful. I'm hoping things calm down soon.

We're already looking at getting another cat. lol

Orphan Black basically starts off with the main character witnessing the suicide of someone who looks exactly like her. The main character then assumes the identity of the dead woman, and sh*t goes downhill from there. That's the simplest summary I can give. Any more details and I'll probably spoil the whole show

My manic depressive, paranoid, anxious, borderline anorexic, suicidal friend from Ohio has been suffering from long term mental health issues for a while now.  Used to be there were a thousand reasons for them all, which all looped back to the fact that he was mentally unstable and needed help.  The problem isn't with his life, it's with his head.
But lately he's transferred the causes of all his problems to ME.  Because he used to have a crush on me but it's warped to this weird obsession.  The only way I can talk him down is by promising that one day the two of us will be able to live together and do everything together, forever.  I HATE making promises I know I can't keep, but I don't have an option here, it's either that or he gets suicidal.
Of course, he's told me that he wouldn't kill himself because he knows that would really hurt me.  Which is true, but now I'm also the only reason he's still alive probably.  He tells me that it actually physically hurts when I'm not around for him to talk to, and that he misses me all the time, and that the reason he's always upset is because I'm not there physically for him.  He gets upset when I talk to people while talking to him, he gets upset when he learns I was talking to one of his friends without him.  He doesn't like it when I leave the house or are away for too long.  I can talk to him all day and he still gets upset when I want to play a game or two of League of Legends with my boyfriend at the end of the day.  He constantly needs me to be around or he gets upset and depressed.

He needs help, but I'm having a hard time convincing his friends that, and they're my only hope, because I can't get in touch with his family or anything due to the fact that he lives half a country away.
It's a sh*tty situation...

That’s a really tough position to be in…I think the only thing you can do is to keep reaching out to his friends, & hopefully sooner or later one of them will help him…

Is it possible to contact his parents by finding out info from his friends? It's tough, but you can try
