CLE Episode 22: Mutiny

This episode upsets me a bit. I have a love-hate relationship with it. What about the rest of you? Discuss please.

Well lets start off by saying that I didn't really like how Laura was acting in the episode. She just seemed too overconfident and tried to rush things through without consulting the others. If she's going to be a part of the Lyoko warriors then she needs to work with them as a team.

Also William. Oh my goodness, I just can't! What was he thinking! I don't want to say anything here, just incase someone hasn't seen the episode, so the rest of my thoughts will be in the spoiler section.

I haven't seen it yet but I just assume Laura was being a b****. I hate Laura, especially because she's the main cause of tension between Jeremy and Aelita.

All I can say is Laura done stupid. William was having second thoughts by saying how he knew the group wouldn't like what was going on.

Laura was uninformed. She understood that the others thought XANA was dangerous from all the heated lectures everyone, especially Aelita, had given her. But she still underestimated how dangerous he is, and there's a reason for that. If the gang had just told her the entire story, everything from A to Z, she might have thought better about what she was trying to do. She would've understood XANA's personal fascination with William, and the many purposes of the scyphozoa, and the reason they should never go to Lyoko alone.

The RTTP thing at the end was really kind of just cooked up out of nothing. It's too convenient if you ask me.

Also, we know the group still has/had trust issues with William, and so when he snuck off with Laura like that, why did they let him off so easily? And then do a complete 180 and basically tell Laura, "Get behind me, Satan!"? The group was ignorant and stupid, and tbh, they kind of deserved what happened in Temporal Paradox/Massacre/whichever one it was.

Willem still has a little bit of seniority over Lara. He’s also shown (imo) over the course of this season that he’s learned from his mistake, & is really trying to be part of the team. This also wasn’t the first time that Lara has done something reckless…

You also can’t really blame Lara for not knowing Lyoko’s history, especially when nobody trusts her enough to tell her everything. In that moment, I probably would have voted her out too…but I probably would try to be nice to her when I saw her in school, to make up for it…

I agree that the RTTP at the end was kind of rushed…Maybe we haven’t seen the last of Lara…
