[Umbra Animus]

Umbra Animus by been led back it to the Asylum. It hadn't even been a year since he's been there. He had been released because they had assumed that he'd been "rehabilitated." As he slowly walked back into the Cafeteria he was sat down and given food, then his leaders quickly left. Umbra stared blankly as it started to change right before his eyes. The pork started to glow an eerie green and the potatoes started to move across his plate. Then, the food looked normal again as he left his hallucination. "Not again..." He said looking into space.

(Lemme gives some history on my character: He is schizophrenic and has had a long history of violence.)

"Hey everyone! I think there's a new person here! Great, i'm not the newest one!" Jonathon said. He looked over to Erica who had an uneasy look on her face.

"Hey, what's wrong, baby?" he asked.

"Nothing...i've just got a bad feeling.....about the new guy." she said nervously.

"Hmm....what kind of feeling." he asked.

"He seems...no feels....dangerous." she said.

"No one can hurt you, not while I'm around. Remember, I took all those martial arts classes just for you." ^_^

She smiled. 

"I remember, just be careful, okay", she asked.

"Alright, sweetie," he leaned in and gave her a kiss on the cheek.

"i'm gonna go say hi," he walked out of the rec room, holding on to Erica's hand. he went and sat down across the table from Umbra.

Of course, everyone else heard that conversation with Erica as Jonathon talking to himself.

"Thanks, he got sat on twice already," Liz said.

"And I don't want it to happen a third time," Jeremie said.

"What's this about a new person?" Liz asked.

All the others saw was Liz talking to herself.

As Jonathon sat down in front of the new guy he said in a more serious tone. "Hello, my name is Jonathon."

[Snickie]

Snickie finishes the last of her sushi, gets up while leaving the container on the table, picks up her straitjacket with the plantain chips, and saunters out of the cafeteria towards the crafts room. Once there, she grabs a stack of computer paper and a few markers and heads to the common room.

Liz looked over at the new person and got a sense of apprehension. "I don't like him. He gives off a sense of.....danger."

Jeremie nodded in agreement. "Then, don't look at him."

Liz turned away and focused on Jeremie and the puzzle. "Lyra, that's not an edge piece."

Jonathon looked at the newcomer funnily, 

Why won't he respond. Hmm, Erica was definitely right about him.


"Okay Erica, I think you're right, let's just go back over to the puzzle."

"Sounds like a plan, sweetie" ^_^

They both got up and went back to the rec room.

PK and Peace entered the rec room, waving at the others inside.  

"Hey guys." PK said in a friendly tone.  "How is everyone?"

"Great, how are you PK? You seemed to be in a lot of pain earlier."

"I'm really doing well." She replied.  "My.... wound is gone.  I.... don't feel angry anymore."  She smiled and looked at Peace.

Liz looked up and smiled at her. "That's good. Do you want to help us with the jigsaw puzzle?"

"Yeah, I'm not very good at this" xD Jonathon laughed.

"That's because you're a dummy, but at least i'm here so you're not totally helpless" Erica said smiling.

"Just start on the edge pieces," Liz said. "I know it's intimidating, but you'll get the hang of it."

"She obviously doesn't know you very well," Erica said teasingly.

"Hey, that's not very nice! You can shut your mouth, Erica." Jonathon also said teasingly. He nudged her arm and pecked her on the cheek. 

What everyone else sees.

"Hey, that's not very nice! You can shut your mouth, Erica." he said teasingly to the air. He then nudged and kissed the empty spot next to him. 

(Jonathon is forgetting that no one else can see her)

Liz looked at Jonathon. "Imaginary girlfriend?" she asked.

"Imaginary? No! Why would you........crap. I forgot, you can't see her. Um...remember how I can see Jeremie and Peace?"

[JeremysGirl]

Liz nodded. "Yeah. Don't tell me you can see ghosts," Liz said smiling in jest, not realizing that Jonathon can see ghosts.

[Snickie]

"No such thing as ghosts," Snickie says as she doodles on some paper with a red marker.

Liz looks over at Snickie. "I was joking. Of course no one can see ghosts."

(Aren't you in the craft room, Snickie? Or did you bring craft supplies into the rec room?)

"Well....um Snickie, i'm not so sure about that.......because......well....you see.....my girlfriend is sitting right next to me, and she's completely real. There's no way i'm hallucinating her, i would have made her nicer. OUCH! Hey, sorry sweetie, not my fault. Well anyway, the thing is..........she's been dead for 2 years now. And also, I saw PK's dad too, and he wasn't one of PK's hallucinations either, he was a spirit."

Liz looked shocked and looked over at Jeremie, who she imagined was shocked as well. "So....you're a medium?"

"Apparently, I think it's connected to the seeing other's mental projections. If the water rewired my brain to see mental projection, it could have also changed it to see electromagnetic projections too."

[JeremysGirl]

Liz stopped smiling and nodded. "Makes sense, even though I was making a joke. This water does strange things. Sometimes, I swear I can feel Jeremie hold my hand and kiss me."

"wait...you can feel him?" Jonathon sat there for a moment thinking, "hey, Erica, poke Liz in the left arm. Liz, tell me if you feel it."

[Snickie]

Snickie draws a stick figure with a bow in one hand and an oversized shirt. Underneath it, she writes: "Archer!Guylita. Shirt size: medium."
