If the RP were to move up to red, we'd need everyone's approval first on whether or not they were comfortable with it. 

I'm gonna have to say no about the cutting since that can be triggering for some people, sorry, but the stabbing will ok as long as it isn't fatal and you use this topic to discus who is going to stabbed and whether or not that user(and everyone else who's actively rping) is ok with it.

If there were NPC's then that could work(though it would also be up to the person in charge of the RP) but we can't really have everyone being killed off since the RP is just an extension of the forum. We haven't created OC's or anything so we can't just go back in as a different person.

We haven't created OC's, I have, i have a whole back story and everything for Jonathon. My problem is I know his character so well that any other character I try to RP as ends up acting like Jonathon. xD

Kay's right.  The way I set this RP up was as an extension of the forum, and we play as ourselves.  Which means if one of us dies, we die for good.  I've toyed around with the idea of reincarnation, but have ultimately decided against it since it might promote some more of the kind of stuff like suicide or psycho killers or whatever that could drive more sensitive people away from the RP and possibly the site altogether.

Consider also that we have nothing actually sharper than safety scissors and plastic sporks and pencils to stab with.  It's an asylum.

As for writing on yourself, I see no problem with it as long as it's appropriate for an orange-level rp and not done with any kind of human matter, whether it be blood, feces, or whatever.  Food, however, and paint are perfectly fine.
