Re: The Murder and the Psychic
I swear people, do I need to twirl my moustache and laugh maniacally while I wipe the blood stains off my shirt before people go "hey wait a minute..."?
The way I see it it goes 1 of 2 ways:
1) It was Atlas. What a shock.
How: Knife in the head while Legend was focused on the cards.
Why: Only Legend and Atlas knew how to win the game. Atlas doesn't like to share.
Other evidence: The guy clearly has issues and is one of the only ones unsurprised at this development. Is a horrible serial killer. Doesn't like to lose.
2) It was Eil.
How: Knife in the head that was thrown.
Why: She was jealous that she couldn't win too. So she wanted to bury the secret forever. If she couldn't win, no one could win.
Other evidence: She's Eil. No one expects her to do it. Which is why she was able to in the first place! /conspiracy
Vote for Atlas.

Upon new info, theory 2 revised to:
Why: Eil is pissed off that she is out, and is now haunting everyone till they die a terrible death.

Re: The Murder and the Psychic
What I think is interesting is that the message was written in bright red, not in blood…Since the lights went out during our argument over art supplies, I wonder if the killer is one of our artists…?
Re: The Murder and the Psychic
I'm super late, I know, but it's done.
We start off with a slightly shaken Soul commenting, followed by Enzo who is examining the knife in Legend's head. Maybe it's just me, but what reason does Enzo have to be examining the knife unless to make sure his own fingerprints weren't on it? That coupled with the fact that Legend was killed during a card game and the point that Enzo brought up about cards could be strawful evidence that he is the killer. But this is still the beginning of the post, so there's plenty of time to learn otherwise.
Then Atlas comes around and states the obvious. XD I'm not sure what to make of this one. Between the cards and the comment here,.... if we don't vote off the real murderer whoever that is in this round, we'll have to see more clues about Atlas. But be warned! We are keeping our eyes on you!
SNICKIE, STOP SUPPLYING THE MURDERERS WITH IDEAS. Or better yet, if you ARE the murderer, then why are you spouting off your plans? Unless you're trying to strike fear into the hearts of everyone there, in which case that seems like a pretty good plan if you want to torture someone before they die.
But none of this really matters at the moment because all it does is set up the scene that takes us to the scene where the murder takes place.
We already know that the murderer wrote that message in red paint. And one of the first things Kay did was grab a paintbrush. The second person was Cats, and afterwards Snickie. These take some consideration, in my opinion. For Cats and Snickie, this isn't the first time I've commented on them, whereas it seemed Kay was innocent in the first post. Maybe I was wrong.
The next suspicious event is when Kitty complains about the lights flickering and they suddenly go out.
Based on Atlas' shout, we can tell that the electricity was cut off completely. He and Y2k seemed preoccupied with the video game in the same way that Stella was preoccupied with her book, so given the evidence on those three we can probably afford to convict someone else before trying them (if we so happen to be wrong).
Why on Earth does Enzo have a torch? How did Enzo get a torch in the middle of an asylum?!
That aside, what did Cats see between Enzo and Y2k and them (which includes Cats, by the way, if you notice his use of the word 'us')? Who else is included in 'us'?
That message seems like a very Atlas-y thing to write, but I still have my doubts. As I said, it was written like he was too preoccupied with the video game to have done anything.
There's just one thing I don't really like too much about this post. How did Shade die? You don't kill someone by just hanging them by their jacket on a coatpeg. Whoever the killer is had to have been quite sneaky to have killed him without any visible sign of a struggle or blood.

I think that when voting's tied, it means nobody gets kicked off.
Even with my analysis, I'm still having a hard time figuring out who it is.

Yeahh, if the votes are tied, no one gets voted off.
Omgsh Snickie wHAT WHY HOW that analysis is like an English essay or something ;a; complete with all the grasping at straws and guessing and lovely analyses that may or may not be true (or maybe it's just me but most people I know BS through their essays o.o)
Really excited for the update, Kay!

Vote for me.
Because I did it. Snickie is just trying to confuse you.
That being said..... maybe Snickie was the mastermind.
I will be voting for Snickie!

Re: The Murder and the Psychic
If it had actually been me, would I be sitting here bringing up any and all potential evidence that it was me? Wouldn't I be trying to dissuade you of that?
...then again, this seems like an argument I'd make if it were me as well. Ohmigawd it's a paradox!

“S-seriously?” Enzo stuttered, the beam of light from the torch still illuminating the second murder scene the inmates had witnessed that day, “...another one?”
“You say it like it's shocking,” Snickie sighed, “Atlas did say that whoever it was killed Legend would probably strike again.”
“She's right, someone here really has it in for us,” Cats murmured looking at Atlas who, even through the dim light was trying to see what the problem was with the power.
Shadows rolled her eyes, “there's no point Atlas, since everything's gone out, it won't just be a problem with the TV...you too Y2k.”
“No harm in trying,” Y2k said helping Atlas pull the TV and its stand away from the wall before the two began inspecting behind the TV.
“I'm sure you two would love to go back to your game, but we have a bigger problem,” Kelly stated motioning to the most lit up part of the room, “I'm not the only one who's curious as to how Shade died, right?”
“Actually, you've got a point, he's just hung there by his jacket, that's not going to kill someone,” Cya said walking up to Shade with Kelly.
Enzo sighed impatiently wanting to move from where he was stood, but knowing he couldn't because he had to keep the light on the wall, “anyone else want to hold this?” but everyone seemed too preoccupied with whatever it was they were doing.
“Ok, so what could've killed him...” Kelly trailed off looking at Shades body, “well there's no blood.”
“So he can't have died the same way as Legend then?” Cya asked and the other girl nodded, “ways someone could die without blood...umm poison?”
“Nah,” Stella said shaking her head; she had decided to join the girls in their investigation after giving up on trying to read her book in this light, “none of us have eaten or drank anything in a while and no one else has been effected, so I don't think it could be that.”
“There doesn't seem to be anything wrong physically,” Snickie stated.
“So there's only one thing for it!” Kitty said, “someone's gonna have to examine him.”
Silence fell upon the group of people as they began to exchange glances, each silently telling the other to go and do it, but neither of them budged.
“Hey umm...Soul!” Kelly said as said girl walked over to them, “how about you take a look at Shade.”
“...and what makes you think I'd know what killed him?” Soul asked.
They all shrugged, “we don't but none of us are willing to take a better look,” Cya said.
Soul just sighed in response and walked up to the hanging body, “asphyxiation?” she suggested after a few seconds.
“It would make sense,” Enzo called over, “there was no blood and we were all talking while the lights were out so we wouldn't have heard him either.”
The group nodded in agreement, “any ideas what?” Kitty asked.
“Could've been anything,” Snickie shrugged looking around, “but one of the floor pillows would be a safe bet.”
Cats quickly turned around and looked at the floor pillows that were around the small table and everyone else looked there too. Kay turned around from her inner rant about art supplies and looked at everyone, “what?”
“We were just trying to figure out what killed Shade,” Stella said, “and these floor pillows would be a safe bet.”
“Oh well that would make sense since there's no blood,” Kay said more to herself than the others, “but how come all of the pillows are here still?” she pointed to the floor.
Kelly was about to say something when Atlas yelled again making everyone jump, “would you stop that!”
“Well sorry but it's not my fault if I accidentally cut myself, it's hard to see in this light,” he replied.
“How did you manage that?” Soul asked walking over to them, followed by a few others from the little group.
Atlas shrugged even though no one else could see it, “I don't know, there's something sharp back here...maybe that was what...” Silence.
“Maybe that was what?” Shadows asked, here voice slightly shaky, silence was never good.
“A-atlas?” Kelly stuttered.
Suddenly the TV flashed and static appeared on the screen before blurred letters began to form from the mess of pixels.
'Follow me if you want the truth.' and a small black arrow appeared below the words.
The light from the TV seemed to intensify and yet another almost lifeless body was shown to the inmates. Atlas laid there, face down in the carpet, coughing and spluttering. Everyone ran to him and as Enzo shined the torch towards him to give a better light than the glow of the TV, the light seemed to glint off the handle of something small in his back.
“A screwdriver,” Enzo said so everyone could hear and pointed to it.
They all looked at it and came to the same conclusion, both from Atlas' coughing that was gradually slowing and the position of the the screwdriver.
“It must've punctured his lung,” Cats said.
No one really knew what to do know. There was nothing to do. They just looked as their fellow inmate drew is last breaths, but not before doing something. Slowly and painfully, Atlas extended his arm and pointed towards a corner of the room. Then nothing.
Enzo, doing what everyone was thinking, moved the torch, the beam of light following Atlas's hand and slowly leading up to the place he was pointing to. A small door in the corner of the room.
“...Rai's old office,” Shadows muttered.

Ooh, this is getting intense. My thoughts are all pretty scattered right now, but at least we know it's not Atlas! Though maybe that's not such a good thing because it means I have no one to be suspicious of anymore.

Atlas was too obvious a guess, in hindsight.
Okay considering the reference to Railen, I'm thinking it might be our current admin? -turns slowly to look at Shadows-

Which mod? Eil's gone, Atlas is dead, Aeon's not playing...
Soul.
I get the feeling poor Soul's not going to survive this round.
This time I'll try to get my mega analysis up before the voting deadline.

(╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻ Wtf you killed me!
I was the emotional core keeping everyone together man. If I wasn't around, now everyone is going to genuinely wonder who is killing everybody and this will cause fear and chaos to spread like herpes.
What have you done.....
P.S. In total seriousness, I'm not entirely sure if I didn't die of my own stupidity and then the true culprit just took advantage of the situation to look cryptic.

Re: The Murder and the Psychic
huh. Looking back, I wonder why the murderer killed Atlas. Generally when someone is being obvious, you let them hang around, and absorb some of the votes. Cause once they're voted off, there's a greater chance they'll go for you. That's one reason I'd never kill the main suspect.
I wonder, though, if the obviousness towards the mods is something. I mean, it's dark, right? So that's a clue at Shadows. Atlas was acting really obvious. And now the whole thing with Rai's office... Just sayin. Not sure what it would have to do with anything.
Also just realized they're using a torch. XD not important, just funny XD Unless it is important. If it wasn't Kay hosting, I'd say that was a clue toward Soul. XD But it is Kay, so I'll write it off.
Also, the murderer seems to be leaving a bunch of notes, so maybe it''s a writer? And the screwdriver is surely a clue. Who works with screwdrivers? (If Dr. J was playing, I'd think it was a sure clue toward him, what with him being the doctor and all XD ) Anyone got any other ideas?
