Summer Santas

We're going to try something new this summer: Summer Santas. Basically, I'll give you a member that signed up and you will write stories for them, draw pictures, maybe make a new avatar- anything that you want to do. This will last from July 1st until July 25th.

How it will work:
If you want to sign up, send me a PM with your intention. With that PM, fill out the following list below and I will send it to your Summer Santa. They will either write you stories, make you pictures, etc, etc. They will be sent to me. Then I will send them out anonymously to your recipeint.

For example, if Randomuser007 is RandomUser1's Summer Santa, he may decide to write her a story. He will send me the story via PM and I will send it to RandomUser1.

But wait? What if Randomuser1 wants to send Randomuser007 an icon? Wouldn't that be impossible because Randomuser1 would have to upload it to her own account so Randomuser007 would know that it was her?

Nope. Send the link and we'll reupload it before sending it off to Randomuser007

Some rules of thumb:
1. If you decide to do this, you have to go through with it. You must give your person at least one large gift "the Christmas Present" and two smaller ones throughout the month. You can do more, but you cannot due less.
2. If something comes up, see if you can someone else to cover, if not, contact me (or whoever is running it and we will figure something out).
3. If you write a fanfic or draw a picture, please don't post it before the reveal. After that, all bets are off. On the other hand, if you receive something, do not claim it as your own (ei, post it on ff.net/deviantart)
4. Be nice and respectful. Even if what you get isn't completely what you wanted, someone put time and effort into it.

Just so you all know, you are not limited to the gifts I have mentioned. Be creative, have fun.

This is also just a trial run, so we're relying on you guys to either make it sink or make it float. If there's not enough interest, we'll can it or try again later. This takes place during June so a lot of you will probably be out of school (some of you may not, but some of you will)

All this new stuff looks really fun. :D Summer 2012 at XL is going to be awesome. I'm not signing up yet, since I'm not sure if I can manage to stick by a due date, but hey, just wanted to say that this looks cool! And the secret santa sort of stuff is always fun in general.

It'll before XLJuWrimo, actually. This June. I'll need quite a few more people before we actually go through with it though so I'd advertise if I were you!

I have two pieces done! Just working on the final, main one. Quite pleased with how productive I've been on this, but then, I did put all of my other projects on hold this month to accommodate it.

Oh good, so I'm not the only one! I've done the small and I've done the big, and now I just have to do the other small. Or I might just convert the big one to a smaller-size one by making another big one that far outsizes the current 'big' one.
