The New Sector Competitions

So you've probably been wondering what we've been up to. This is one of them.

We'll be officially re-opening the new Sector Competitions starting on March 15th. However, there'll be some changes to the setup.

1) The starting two sectors will be the Desert Sector and the Mountain Sector.
- These two sectors will always be active and will be headed by a mod/admin at all times. It has no requirements to joining besides stating that you wish to join. Anyone and everyone that isn't in a different sector can be added to the roster. The only exception to this rule is if you try to switch to this sector during a competition. In that event, you'll be added after the conclusion of the current challenge.

2) The addition of custom sectors.
- That's right folks. We're adding the ability to form your own custom sectors/teams/regions. They'll be submitted to the usual rules of the forum but they'll be able to be headed and staffed entirely by the owning user. In order to maintain them, they'll require a 10 CP initial investment and 10 CP for every season to be remained open. Each custom team can be entered into the Sector Competitions and can be customized to the owner's content.

To apply for a custom team, PM either one of the admins and if you have 10 CP, you'll have your Sector added to the active roster.

3) Competitions will be divided into seasons, which are 3 months long.
- Starting on March 15th, the first season will start. That means Season 1 will end on June 15th and at that point a winner of the Season will be anointed. The rewards for winning a Season are still being discussed. Within these 3 months, each month will have 2 weekly and 1 monthly challenge to complete.

These challenges earn your Sector a number of Season points depending on the difficulty and length of the challenge. The sector with the most Season points at the end of the Season wins the Season.
