Well, I had pink hair at the time.... My hair was SUPER long, and I was in need of a new username. So, I came up with LongHairedAelita. And I've had such a liking to it so much that it just stuck. I used to be known as BtchfrmLyoko (hence my DA name.) or LyokoBtcch. But I felt those names were too provacative. So I changed it to LongHairedAelita.

It's "Gummy bear" in German.

We watched the "ich bin ein gummibar" video in my German class one day, and I went around for the rest of the day just singing it randomly. From then on I just kind of started using it for everything. Razz

Ooh, that's so cool that you took (still take??) German. And I remember that song, though I think I heard it in English. I thought it was the COOLEST. SONG. EVER. or something like that.

I like this thread because I feel like it gives an interesting view of our lives (you know, weird moments that inspired your username, other fandoms, things like that...uh, at least I think they're interesting). My username on Tumblr is inspired by none other than Yumi. But I had a few usernames before that, one having to do with a certain bird that I'm really obsessed with, and another having to do with High School Musical. ~~i secretly or not so secretly still love that movie~~

I liked binary code and I was 10 when I joined. Enzo was a character on a show I liked, and also the name is sort of generic in Italian so that was cool. The rest of the nicknames just piled up of their own accord, but hardly anybody actually uses them.

Also 10 is binary for 2, but I can't remember how that was relevant then so meh.

Oh man. My username comes from my OC character from the "Kim Possible" fandom. At the time I was REALLY active in forums and such so I started using the name all over the internet and it quickly became a way to connect my different accounts (deviantART, FF.net, etc) all together.

Even though I'm not in the KP fandom much anymore, this username has become the embodiment of my online persona so I use it where ever I go. And it also still connects all my profiles together in a way. Besides, it is never EVER a taken username so... yeah.

Mine is the english translation of my original name; Oshnsoashnedashnkiuepgli. which is the title I was given when i was elected to the position of First Immortal by my group of friends back in High School.

it tied into the list of titles that used to adorn my Signature back when I was a Mod on the original forum. [i also to see just how large railen had made the length allotment for names Smile
