Re: The origin behind your username
Is this because we talked about it on Sworn to Secrecy?
Anyways, the name comes from a combination of a similar sounding name from a VERY obscure web comic series and my own combination of the word 'Tsunami', the coolest word I could think of at the time, and the letter 'X', the coolest looking and sounding letter in all of history.
And before anyone else butchers it, it's pronounced Sue-NAHM-icks. Not Suna-MIKS, and definitely NOT Tsunami X.

Re: The origin behind your username
Mine is after my dog. His name was Dobie, but I made comics about him as a super hero named Dobermutt. (He wasn't a Doberman, he was a mutt - beagle, dash hound mix). Just thought I'd add that.
Re: The origin behind your username
I watched episode Distant Memory(French title Memoire Blanche).
My jaw dropped and my username was born. ^^

Re: The origin behind your username
At some point in time, Aelita and William were my favourite characters in CL of their respective genres. I also thought they wouldn't make too terrible a pairing. And since these thoughts happened to be all (sort of) that was occupying my mind when I first joined XL, that's how my username came to be! I actually had the choice to change it on this site when switching over, but I couldn't resist keeping it for old times' sake. It's umm...memorable, to say the least.

Re: The origin behind your username
Well, I've always been into poisons, and cyanide was one of my favorites, so when I made a fanfic account, I went with Cyanide (name taken) so I went with Cyanide6, caues the aliteration sounded nice.
After creating fanfic, I felt it was kinda long, so I always shortened it down to Cya after that. So now I'm Cya6 mostly everywhere.

Re: The origin behind your username
Well, I was going to make a username based off of a show/book/anime I liked a lot, but it turns out I had too many and couldn't pick. So I thought an "Adventurer" would get to visit them all 411 just happened to be my school lunch number, so I added it and also have 411 meaning info because an Adventurer would collect a lot of information, I guess, if they... adventured? (that's a new word now. Learn it.)

Re: The origin behind your username
Snick is my cat. Snick was derived from Snickerdoodle (excluding the long list of names that branched from Snickerdoodle including snickiedude) and somehow Snickerdoodle came from Malinda, don't ask me how, we still don't know. XD I love Snick and she is my cute little sixteen-pound seven-year-old baby kitten, so hence I am Snickie.
Re: The origin behind your username
I was shopping for uniforms one day.
(And that's when you know you just opened a can of worms.) I was in third or fourth grade at the time, I do believe (maybe even fifth but I don't think so). So there, I was, shopping for my uniform. And this was before all the public schools started getting uniforms so we had to make the painful half-hour journey to a certain mall that had a certain store that always had the best pants and skorts.
I was at this store, and I saw a camoflauge T-shirt. This T-shirt said "You Can't See Me."
Now, around this time, I was recieving Nickelodeon Magazine, because we had just decided to get rid of cable and I was going through withdrawal and it was at least keeping me a little sane. And I had a huge obsession with Avatar: The Last Airbender back then (which I proudly still carry to this day).
And Nick Magazine had this contest where you could create a character for the A:TLA comic. And some how, the words "See Me" from the T-shirt stuck in my mind. So I decided to come up with a character. Her name was Seeme and she was an earthbender. She would take care of her enemies by creating an enclosure around them and leaving them there. I think that someone had tried to do the same to her, and that was how she had learned how to earthbend.
I never sent it in, which is probably a good thing because looking back, it's awfully dark. And Riley the cookiedough bender was much better anyway.
But the name Seeme still stuck with me, and somehow "In The Shadows" was added to it. Then I made a youtube account with that name (which I forgot the password and cannot use anymore) and thus my username was born.
*gasps for breath* that was soooo much longer than it needed to be. *gasps*

Re: The origin behind your username
Mine had a very short past. One day I decided to rename my fanfiction account so my brother couldn't keep looking at my stuff and see my horrible fanfics. So I wanted to make something that was easy to remember but couldn't' be traced to me.
I chose "Pastamancer" because it was a class in a videogame called "Kingdom Of Loathing".
It's actually a bit ironic because now I prefer the class of "Sauceror".(It's a very crazy videogame.)

I'm Smart. I'm a guy. The number 5000 has 4999 numbers below it. Also, I was a lot younger when I first came up with it, and it just kinda stuck.
Re: The origin behind your username
It was my fanfiction name. The second bit came from the fact that I loved(still do) Code Lyoko, which is where the Lyoko comes from. The first bit was because I seriously loved Tokyo Mew Mew and Kish always called Ichigo 'Koneko-chan'...so Koneko on Lyoko.
Koneko became a general thing in most of my usernames(Youtube: Koneko2110, DA: APH-Koneko).

Wow, I always thought Koneko was an Azumanga Daioh reference.Koneko on lyoko wrote:It was my fanfiction name. Koneko always reminded me of the Koneko on Negima.

Azumanga Daioh, Negima and Konekomaru from Ao no exorcist, it now has a lot more meanings to me than what it did back then
Re: The origin behind your username
I was running out of ideas one. I tried to use Rookie1, SmellHouse, BFG4567898, Pierceless Pierce, and a lot more. But none really has been closer to me than Peace Keeper 2014
I have an obsession with Red Alert 3 and my favorite faction was always the Allies. I love their infantry and my favorite of all of the game's units was the Peace Keeper, armed with a shotgun and riot gear. I always spam them when assaulting a base.
Then, my other favorite game came into play, Battlefield 3. I realized that I have to use a number or numbers to make it cool. So, why not use the year it takes place in. 2014.
Right there is the origin. Almost. I don't wanna reveal the rest yet. XD

When I first saw your username, I thought it was based off of the Hunger Games. lol
Re: The origin behind your username
When I was signing up for FFN, I knew I wanted something that had a first & last name…I love looking at the night sky, especially on clear nights in areas where there isn’t a lot of artificial light. I was thinking of calling myself Star Light, but I decided to play with Google Translate to see how it would sound in different languages…so my name is literally Star Light in Italian (according to Google).
Re: The origin behind your username
Well, I had pink hair at the time.... My hair was SUPER long, and I was in need of a new username. So, I came up with LongHairedAelita. And I've had such a liking to it so much that it just stuck. I used to be known as BtchfrmLyoko (hence my DA name.) or LyokoBtcch. But I felt those names were too provacative. So I changed it to LongHairedAelita.

Re: The origin behind your username
Frankly, it doesn't really have any meaning, it's just the first random pile of letters I hit when making an account on some forum, like 7 years ago. And it's with me since then.

Mine is just because I saw a sharpie sitting on the desk in front of my computer. But I didn't want my name to just be sharpies so I was like, "What if I put it backwards?!"
So there ya go...that's why my name is eseiprahs ( :

Re: The origin behind your username
cept if you spell your name backwards, you get sharpiese. Extra 'e' at the end. What's with that?
