Least Favorable Episodes

We all have that one bad episode for all of us in a show, and Code Lyoko is no exception. This is where you can share your least favorite episodes and explain why they aren't in your favorites.

Anyway, not really actually. I mean there are really bad episodes, but I don't quite have that "nemesis" episode though.

s2e50: Contact.
Just.... kind of pointless imo. It's considered one of the major plot pushers near the end, but to me it was just completely unnecessary. The only thing it does is show us what white towers are.

The two I can't absolutely stand are Skidbladnir and Franz Hopper.

Skidbladnir because it's contrived as all get out (I already made an editorial about this episode explaining why it doesn't work), Franz Hopper for reasons I can't elaborate on at the moment because I'm trying to save all my rage for when I cover it in my podcast.

Franz Hopper is in my top three of favorite episodes along with Temptation and Double Trouble!
Least favorite? Bragging Rights maybe? Anything Oddcentric, because he's such an a**hole on normal episodes, but when he gets an episode to himself I want to gouge my eyes out. Like, I would literally not watch any episodes with him in it. Triple Trouble's ok, I guess. Valentine's Day is ok, but the bit between Odd and Jeremie is so infuriating. There are some episodes where Ulrich is too busy angsting over Yumi to help out. Like the one where Sissi gives him the note? You b***ard! The fukcing world is in danger, everyone could die. Do you think you could shelve your selfish self pity for 5 minutes? Selfish m****erf****er
That episode where Aelita learns that her father is still alive, and says to Jeremie "Gee, I know you're really over worked trying to save my a** and the whole entire planet and you're on the verge of death/insanity at all times, but do you think you could also spend your precious time to find my father?" He says no, and Odd decides, screw it, Jeremie didn't have any reason to say no, lets risk Aelita's life on a f***ing dangerous mission!
That one's also annoying. Basically, whenever the Lyoko Warriors don't seem to get that the world is literally in danger and think there's something else more important (like a soccor game. Really Ulrich? A**hole...)

Funny, because character actions are among the main reasons why I absolutely loathe Franz Hopper. At least in my opinion.

You're absolutely right. I mean it's not like Jeremie had three others that could stop the attack. Clearly Ulrich showing up would've made that big a difference. Plus, he still had his father to please. Whether or not Jeremie could've hit the reset button once the attack was negated and Ulrich could try again, he still would have to live with the memory of the fact that for a brief moment he let his overbearing father down.

It's kind of hard to choose an episode that I don't really like. Because they're all good, really. But if I had to, I would say Temptation from Season two.
I never really liked that one because I didn't really understand it. For me, that episode moved really slow and it just didn't have the same vibe as the others. It felt pretty weird since Jeremie was all knocked out and was having this weird dream. He's sort of like, the leader of his friends, in a way y'know.? So it was just weird for me to not see him in his usual place at the supercomputer..

I was doing some stumbling on youtube and ended up watching Kadic Bombshell. Oh my goodness, Odd acted like a jerk to the group so often in that episode.

My most hated episodes are Lyoko Minus One and every other Season 3 episode that involves Aelita being Xanafied. It's so infuriating to watch her basically submit herself to the Scyphozoa with helplessness she presents. Girl, you have Energy Fields and Creativity for crying out loud! Use them!

I always hated the episodes that involved them being in Lyoko for, like, the whole episode.

I hate to say it, but I think I have to go with Echoes…Episodes that have no real plot other than looking back at clips from the show are just kind of a pet peeve of mine…

I don't mind those. I actually kind of like them.

I would not say that these are my least favorite, but I would always get annoyed everytime Yumi and Ulrich would be in trouble. That happened ALL THE EFFING TIME.
