Karl looked in the direction of Vee and Jeannine and noted their duel "hmm... a duel to test each other strength. Nice initiative Sentinel spot and make sure nothing get broken.

A slim built robot like humanoid appeared next to the arrow that Jeannine fired "hmm... seems like it's stuck in there for good, KC. We'll have to do a reset.

Karl sighed "do it later."

Vee watched as the arrow flew....really far away from her and shrugged. "Maybe if we take a few steps closer to eachother?" She took a giant step foreward, but then noticed how close she was and stepped back again, not wanting to hurt her newfound friend.

She tried throwing two more discs. One flew backwards, but the second actually got to be a few inches away from Jeannine. Still not close, but a definite improvement. She smiled broadly! "It may not be a victory, but it could almost strike fear into the hearts of my opponents."

Jeannine blinked and then smiled. "I'm sure you will strike fear into the hearts of other opponents. Except you're no match against my bow and arrow!" Again, she nocked the arrow, and this time took extra care to aim at Vee's face. She took stepped a tiny bit forward and squeezed her eyes shut, hoping that she'd at least get a little closer this time.

"Darn," She sighed. Instead of getting Vee's face, it'd shot towards her leg. Admittedly, it was less than a foot away this time, but she still had a lot to improve on.

Vee pulled her foot back in reaction from the arrow. "I would say we should give up, but we really shouldn't! Because we can do this."

She caught her other disc and threw one more, watching it sail through the air with satisfaction. Jeannine might actually need to dodge this one. "I think we're improving."

"No, you're right. We shouldn't give up." Jeannine agreed. "This is a good way to improve ourselves, after all." She had to shift to the side to avoid Vee's disc. "Oh, wow that was really good. Imagine, this is only after three tries. We may actually get good at this." She grinned, sending an arrow back at Vee. With any luck, the third time would be the charm she needed.

Sentinel watched the two girls practice their attacks.

Jack just nods his head and follows the group while he goes back to being engrossed in his books, paying slight attention to the words being spoken.

Vee shrieked as she dodged to the side of the arrow, hand over her heart. "Wow...maybe we should practice with hand to hand, or something. Or our secondary weapons. Anything so we don't kill each other. We're getting to good at this."

Sentinel said "you will find that the attacks are non lethal generally speaking however you will note slight pain and a drop in lifepoints as you take damage when you lose all your lifepoints, your form will be deactivated. In game terms lifepoints are the same as hitpoints or health.

"Let's separate an arena for them," mused Mildred, and she slowly floated towards them. She looked rather ridiculous because of how slow she was going, but she was still new to the whole levitation thing. When she finally got within range, she ignited a small light blue flame in her left hand, and threw it out a ways so that it formed a wall of fire. She did this again until the firewalls formed a large square around Vee and Jeannine.

"If you hit it, you shouldn't lose life points, but it might hurt a lot. If your weapons fly into it, they'll desolve right there," she said, remembering what she had learned at her job interview and performance audition. "This shouldn't hurt the course, but if it does....well, you were already planning to do a total reset, right?"

She floated back to the top of the street light, and deactivated levitation so she could practice balance.

Vee stared at fire wall that was seperating her with a wide open mouth. "I did not sign up for this," she muttered. But she had, because they pay was good and it seemed like fun, even if it meant she had breezed her way through any interviews or contracts.

"Okay," she said to Jeannine, "just don't hit the wall and we'll be fine. Just don't hit the wall, just don't hit the wall, just don't hit the wall."

She took out a disc to throw, and with her hand coming back to gain momentum, it brushed against the wall. She grabbed her hand with the other, dropping the disc. "Ouch!" she hissed, "That really does hurt!" When she had recovered her cool, she picked her disc up and threw it at Jeannine.

((She drew a pretty large square, you know... they should have enough room that they can run around a bit and don't just arbitrarily move and hit the wall.))

Jeannine stood there, shocked. "Um, fire. All around us! What the heck, Mildred. I thought we were going to be friends. Does it hurt?" She added as she watched Vee nurse her burnt arm.

She stepped back warily, even though there was a large space around them, not wanting to make the same mistake as Vee. "We're not going to die. We're not going to die." She muttered. "We can do this, Vee!"

Lucas felt annoyed that those two got away and wanted to give up but he heard a cat fight below and started to peek at them from above.

"Wow a actual cat fight" he mumble and he started to sit cross legged and felt a bit tired.

"Maybe," Vee said, "Maybe we can do this. Or we can die trying....err, we can do this or deactivate trying!" She made a face. "It doesn't have the same ring to it."

Karl looked at Mildred "your assistance to them was not needed Mildred. Decode and Recover Data" He typed his fingers in the air and sent a reset code and deactivated the fire wall then healed the damage that Vee and Jeannine taken from the fire wall.

The female humanoid came up behind Luca. "Tired already?" She teased "I was just about to have fun."

Mildred's mind went into shock at that very second, and she wobbled slightly on top of her street lamp. Recovering quickly, her mind resumed speed at what felt like one-hundred mph.

Why did he use that? she wondered. The firewall was only meant to make sure no flying disks and arrows flew through and damaged the rest of the arena or us. There should be no data to recover. Vee didn't lose any life points when she touched the wall... did she?

She turned around, away from the group, to hide the fact that her face was paling.

He used the "Recover Data" program.

That means there WAS life point damage dealt when Vee hit the wall. Which could only mean one thing:

Mildred had used the wrong kind of firewall.

She'd used the kind that DID deal damage. The kind she would use if she were tracking and trying to encase an enemy into an enclosed space. An enemy she'd be trying to kill or deactivate or something.

She shook her head, trying to ignore the heat that was rushing quickly to her cheeks, and sighed inaudibly.

I've got a lot of work to do.

Lucas hiss at the female humanoid and she really piss him off to the max.

"Sorry Bit*h I hate girls like you and you do annoy to the max"

He than grab his saber from behind and started to glow Neon Green activated his Fairy Piercing Strike.

"Die Bit*h!"

He than get up and started to rush to the female humanoid and piercing her body with his two saber angrily.

The female cried out in pain turned to bits and vanished then reappeared a short distance away. "Ow sheesh, I was just trying to help train you for the Agency you didn't have to stab me."

Karl hummed as he looked at Lucas "we're going to have to work with that."

He look at KC feeling stupid and he crouch down into shame.

Vee watched as the wall went away, Mildred started acting weird, and Lucas stabbed the humanoid, just enough so she overhead the conversations. "Wouldn't it be your fault for getting mad?" she asked, shrugging, before turning her attention back to her fight with Jeannine.

Aloysia looked to see Lucas get the female one, "huh but I was....geeze I need to start paying more attention when it comes to fighting," she mumbled looking around for the male one of the two humanoids that had appeared.
She shook her head and started to walk around a bit, "I'm guessing that sensing things isn't one of my abilities," she laughed and continued to walk around somewhat aimlessly.
"At least this is just training."

Karl hovered over to Lucas and landed near him and said "I can understand why you reacted as you did and with time we can work with that but will I kick you out from the group for one burst of anger. No, because then I will be short one player in a game that I knows needs all the players I can train."

The male appeared next to Alyosia walking backwards "you know I always find it interesting that humans can quickly forget their objective."

He turn into the female humanoid "Look Sorry for what I cause you and you kind of remind me of the fangirls in my school and don't ask" He give a death glare at the female humanoid

Lucas had good aim on that throw: the rock struck Mildred square between her shoulder blades, and she tumbled off the light post. She barely managed to catch herself and activate levitation as she stopped just inches from the ground, and spared herself a broken nose or something. Giving up on her balance exercise, she twisted in the air and dropped to her feet. She rubbed her back with one hand, and felt a tingling that had been left behind by the stone, which signified a loss of life points, but only slight.

"Alright, what'd I do this time?" she grumbled, agitation evident in her voice.
