It is during July, actually. I was adding it to the calander, and then it showed up here. I figured that that way it was between the two Camp NaNos and everyone would be out of school by then. Eil will mostly be handling this even though, so it will be very fun.

Haha. Yeah this sounds really fun. I'm going to be using it to finish the huge multi-chapter fic I've been putting off.

It's basically like NaNoWrimo, only for XL. We'll explain more as we get closer to it, since it doesn't start until half a month away.

NaNoWriMo is a competition held in November where you write a novel of 50,000 words within the month. This will be a smaller version of that (so many words in the month of June). We will have more details as we get closer to then.

Nah, that's the easy part. The hard part is going from a chainsaw to a toothpick to get through all of the errors. The second part I'm only on chapter 5 after like 6 months.

Excuse my double posting but I'm proud to announce the introduction to XaJuWriMo!!!


"Welcome everyone! Now please quite down while I finish getting set up." I plainly stated into the microphone as the crows in front of me started to settle. Turning around my heart was pumping, mainly because I was running this event. With my back still turned to the crowd I knew that I had to relax.

First step was to relax, first in and then out. I repeated that a few time befor I grabbed my papers and strode up to the crowds. With my microphone in hand I surveyed the group in anticipation. It was just a few more moments fill I would introduce a wonderful event to these people. Smiling, I looked up to the clear skies over all of our heads. Facing the crowed I got the nearve to start talking.

"NaNoWriMo, a time where writers around the world shut everything out for exactly one month to do one thing... Write a Novel, yes a full fledged novel in one month. Many call that idea absurd, some take it as a challenge, where others just do it for fun. Friends become enemies, houses become ignored, social lives cease to exist.

XaJuWriMo, a take on NaNo as people call it. Though here there is a twist. Write a 25,000 word story in a month. Starting on June 1st at 12:00 your time and ending on June 30th at 11:59:59 pm. But that's not the only thing that separates XaJu from NaNo. Throughout the month I'm going to have anywhere from 3-5 different twists that you must incorporate somehow into your story.

The race for supremacy starts now, are you going to lead or be led? Take the title or sit by? These choices are all up to you. Race for the title of the First Ever XaJuWriMo!!! "

EDIT: Forgot to say; I'm going to be using this WriMo to finish an existing story, is that okay? I'll try as much as I can with regard to incorporating the plot twists/challenges that you're giving us, provided they don't interfere too drastically with my already pre-planned ending. Sooo does this still count?
