Re: Code Lyoko: Computer Issues
Karl carefully made his way into the factory, no one was in visual range so he made his way to the ground via a rope that was strung from a high beam. He landed without much of a hitch

"Got it." Yumi nodded, spinning around and heading towards the elevator. She stopped at where Akiko stood silently. She didn't know the girl that well, but she felt sorry for her, since she remembered how nervous she'd been when she'd first come to France. Speaking in Japanese, she said, "Don't worry. Aelita's a good person, and she'll keep you guys safe." Without giving Akiko any time to reply, she stepped into the elevator, and smiled grimly. XANA always managed to mess with her day somehow. She just didn't want the new kids to get involved in it.
____________
Hilary stared at the huge computer and the what seemed to be a holagram in front of it. She quickly turned around and started whispering to Allie. "What is this? What's going on?" Reluctantly (there weren't any signs, but stepping towards a pink-haired girl in front of an ominous looking computer never seemed to bode well in her world), she stepped out of the elevator and into the room. She repeated herself, this time directing her words at Yumi's friend. "What is this?"

"Peace" He bid Yumi before stepping out, watching the elevator doors close and he glanced down, then looked at Aelita."Do you really not trust us that much to wipe our memories of this happening? I mean..not like I can tell the police, I'm not exactly on their good side."He said, then went to Aelita's side, looking at the computer."Must be a fourty terabyte Super computer, verry efficient."

"Great," Allie groaned when she heard John. "someone who's not on the police's good side, an abandoned factory, a huge computer. Someone really should put a sign up or something because I cnnot tell you how much I don't want to go to jail."
She stopped, took a deep breath, and: "MEMORY WIPES? Who in theire right mind wipes memory unless they're doing something bad. Just tell me one thing! What are you? Spies? Terrorists? What?"
She took a few more deep breaths and seemed to regain some of her calm. "At least put a post it note to warn about this or something. And you're not very good at doing illegal things without getting caught- there are like four of us who pretty much found out in one day."

Re: Code Lyoko: Computer Issues
"Tower is in the mountan sector Yumi. I'll be in as soon as I can. Though I haven't heard from the others." Aelita said as she placed the headset on and started typing away. She was very nervous at the lack of Jeremy, Odd and Ulrich. Though since no one else will remember this later she figured that it wouldn't hurt to answer some questions. "This is the super computer that allows me and my friends fight an evil AI called Xana. We keep this a secret for our safety and for the rest of the world. We have been doing this for almost two years and you are the first four to find this lab without being told." She stated as she started programming the overwing for Yumi.

"Evil AIs, Saving the world, secrets..fun."He said, rubbing the back of his head"You sure you wanna send Yumi in, you know..ALONE?"He said He knew full well what keeping secrets was like."Heh..I wonder if this was what he was talking about."John murmured, circling the computer and lightly poking it."Wonder if this was how dad got silenced.."He grimaced lightly.

"Yeah, she will be fine. She's really good at this. She will be fine, don't worry." Aeita stated without her eyes leaving the computer. With the overwing programmed and awaiting Yumi, Aelita was having an internal struggle about two options. She could either go to Lyoko and back Yumi up or stay till the others get here. She couldn't figure out which one would be better in this situation.

"Telling me not to worry will only make me worry more, why aren't there people backing her up? WHy is she going in solo?"He asked her, frowning with worry. He then thought for a moment."...Send me there."He said, looking at Aelita."It's not like it's going to be much good if you leave the computer, I don't know how to work this thing."

"First people to find the place," Allie muttered under her breath, "and it was suuuuuuch a hard place to find."
She heard the two talking, but the only thing she could really thinkg was I don't want to be involved. I don't want to be involved. I don't want to be involved.
And then: "Hey, if he's going, I'm going too!"

Karl was going to held to the elevator but all of a sudden a cry of "Banzai" was heard and Karl quickly hid behind one of the support pillars.
Odd followed by Ulrich came into the factory and went toward the elevators swing on the ropes.
Karl hummed
Odd said "just what I need after a good lunch a XANA attack for some fun."
Ulrich said "just say that after you get de-virtualized come on. Aelita waiting for us." He entered into the elevator
Odd followed him and said "ah my fair Lyokoian princess wait no longer your knight in shining armor is here"
Ulrich sighed "some days Odd." He pressed the button to go down.

Re: Code Lyoko: Computer Issues
((So, I haven't read everything just yet (I got to page three before my eyes dried out completely. So I'm going to jump in from where I last saw Jeremie, which was in the cafeteria eating...something. I think they were croissants. And I'll catch up from there.))
Jeremie had finished his breakfast early - a measly croissant and a cinnamon bun - and had immediately headed back to his room. He had to work on the new program for the Skid and he knew he wasn't going to be able to work during the time they were supposed to be in the school computer lab that day (or was that tomorrow? With all the all-nighters he'd been pulling lately it had become all too easy for him to lose track of what day it was). He hadn't been in there even five minutes when his cell phone vibrated in his pocket, and his screen started flashing with the alert for an activated tower.
Jeremie groaned. When it wasn't school that was keeping him from being productive with Lyoko, it was XANA. He reached in his pocket for his cell phone, and froze when he saw the text message.
"I'm waiting for you, humans," he read aloud. "That's got to be a message from XANA." Realizing that XANA had also somehow disabled outgoing signals from his cell phone, he pocketed it, grabbed his laptop in his bookbag, and ran for the gymnasium.
From a distance, he saw that Jim was there, and knew immediately that there would be no way for him to get past him, and so he ran for the park. Upon nearing the area, he heard the familiar voices of not only Aelita and Yumi, but of those kids from breakfast. Great, he thought. How am I supposed to get past them? He turned around and bolted out the school gates. He would have to go over the wall.
After avoiding traffic and suspicious-looking people, Jeremie finally did make it to the factory. The entrance was clear, and he assumed that the others had already made it. Maybe Aelita had already virtualized them, and all he would have to do now was warn them of monsters nearby like he was there the whole time. After swinging down the rope, he noticed the elevator was just going down. Looks like either somebody discovered the factory or somebody was late, which means he would have to virtualize them. Not wanting to wait for the elevator to come back up and take him back down, he ran for the corridor.
He finally made it to the ladder that led to the computer room, and heard the same voices from before, minus Yumi. He looked, and Aelita was at the interface, with Ulrich, Odd, and some of the people from breakfast standing around her. Oh, great, he thought. Looks like I'm definitely launching a Return in time today. As if I wasn't already confused enough about what day of the week it is.
"What is going on here?" He declared his presence by asking the question rather loudly as he climbed down into the supercomputer room.

Re: Code Lyoko: Computer Issues
"Yumi's in the scanner room, Odd and Ulrich just got here, and the others must have followed one of us here. Some people are worried about sending Yumi in alone and I'm going downstairs now that you are here. Also a RTTP is probably going to be needed." Aelita explained as she hopped off Jeremy's chair and headed for the elevator. She sighed, how did so many people find the lab on the same day. That confused her since no one else has found it before, besides William. But even then William only found it because he was following one off he gang. Aelita made sure she wasn't being followed.
------------
The Japanese girl just stood in the corner completely confused. She was able to pick up the general conversation but not much more. Akiko was getting really confused on what was going on. She tried desperately to translate everything by herself it wasn't working well. She was secretly wishing to be with Yumi So she could translate for her.

Jeremie nodded. "Alright, then. All three of you head for the scanner room. I'll send you right over. As for the rest of you...."
The supercomputer suddenly interrupted with a beeping, and he tapped a few keys. A window opened showing a camera view inside the factory. "Looks like we've got another problem. There's a spy in the factory, and I don't like that at all."
He shoved the window to a different monitor panel, and opened the scanner process window to begin the virtualization process for Yumi and Aelita. "Ladies first."

Re: Code Lyoko: Computer Issues
John rubbed the back of his head and stiffened, looking over at Jeremie and blinked at his words."A spy..I'm sure I wasn't followed."He said."I may not be the best runner but I'm not stupid enough to make it this obvious."He scratched his chin and looked down."So, is it true?"He asked Jeremie, looking at him."Am I not going to remember this whole thing? Because as awkward as it was in that elevator, you're seriously undermanned."He commented, then blinked."Not that you guys aren't tough at all, it's just that..Some of this looks familiar, is all."He said, shrugging.

Ulrich and Odd quickly went down to the scanner room
After Odd and Ulrich went into the elevator Karl made a move but his sensor picked up the camera alert as well.
Karl looked up and saw the camera and grinned "alright boys and girls." He stated "playtime's over." He flashed a government badge "you're busted"

Re: Code Lyoko: Computer Issues
"As if I didn't have enough on my pla-- oh no," Jeremie growled. He quickly activated a firewall to mask any outgoing signals coming from the supercomputer and immediately afterwards blocked the elevator in case this guy tried to come down the elevator. Now that only left the corridor entrance that was vulnerable, but hopefully, seeing as this guy wasn't under the control of XANA as indicated by the lack of a XANA symbol in his eyes he wouldn't be able to find the way too quickly. (Jeremie would have preferred that the man had been XANAfied, actually, because then he could count on him not being here after the return in time, but since he wasn't, he was going to have to turn fate in a different direction, but he'd worry about that later.)
"Change of plans. Ulrich, I ne--" he stopped, suddenly remembering his audience. The beginnings of a plan formed in his mind. If he could just get them to-- but that was asking a bit much, wasn't it? Asking for these kids, one of them whose presence in the country itself could be questionable if she didn't have her visa with her (Akiko), to let themselves get taken in by this French government agent, even with the promise that he'd bust them out and that they wouldn't remember any potentially traumatic experience they might have with them, was morally questionable. And what if they failed on Lyoko? Then not only would he have lost Aelita, but he would have also ruined these innocent kids' lives for the sake of his lab. But if he succeeded, then they would all get away free, except for the government agent, of course. Which was the goal in mind. But what was the probability of them achieving that very goal?
Not very high, he had to admit.
Should he do it?

Karl looked at his PDA to see that the connection had vanished "to late to cover up." He muttered as he walked towards the elevator. He then attempted to use it only to find it blocked off "hmm... nice lock, guess I'm going to have to find another way in."
Ulrich said "you call Jeremy?"

John grimaced, this was not part of his plan, not that heh ad one to begin with but it looks like the government had already caught on to them. He looked at Jeremie."There's a code that Yumi used to gain access here, he doesn't know the code yet so it should buy us sometime. I need to back Yumi up, sending her in there alone is suicide, Plus I'm not doing much better out here.."He said, frowning."We gotta come up with something before that government guy figures out a way in here."He said with a sense of urgency, he was not going to end up like his dad.

Aelita got into a scanner and waited for Jeremy to launch the program. She was thinking about letting Akiko know about Lyoko. She didn't know how heavy of a sleeper the japanese girl was. To make matters worse, Akiko would probably start hanging out around Yumi more often because of ther background. Signing, Aelita figured this was something that would have to be discussed later
--------
Akiko rummaged trough her bag and brought out a few pieces of paper. Walking over to Jeremy she showed them to him. They were her student visa papers all filled out and approved. She thought for a moment before she started talking. "This... What he wants?" She asked, her parents telling her that of the word government is mentioned, pull out the papers and show someone.

((I'm not going to update Jeremie until Kelly posts with Yumi, just so you know. I don't mean to hold the roleplay back or anything, but I'd also rather not Godmod that she stepped into the scanner or anything on Lyoko.))
Re: Code Lyoko: Computer Issues
((Kelly's in China right now and won't be able to regularly post for a couple more weeks. I don't know if she plans on checking in or not.))
"Great!" Allie said. "There weren't any signs, but it turns out this is illegal anyway. I told myself before I got here: 'no, Allie, no illegal activities this time.'
She huffed. "And I still don't like this whole loosing my memory thing!"

(guys, I'm so sorry! D: I was planning on checking in, but I couldn't get good enouh wifi, and then I just ended up forgetting about the RP after school started)
Yumi nodded gravely. "Look, time is ticking, and we don't have any to waste. I'm going in." She looked at Jeremie and then switched her gaze to the others. "The question is, what are we going to do with them?"

Allie scooted closer to Hilary. "You know, they're probably going to murder us or something, so we don't find out about their secret crime ring. This is a nightmare!"
Re: Code Lyoko: Computer Issues
John was keeping his tongue back, this was bad. It was a good thing that the lack of knowledge for the code bought the group some time, but this wasn't something he would easily let go. His eyes hardened a bit and he looked to the side."This isn't good, we gotta help somehow."

"Murder?" Hilary's eyes lit up. "This is like being in a crime show! Except it's actually real!" She whispered, hoping that the others wouldn't hear her. "If they start throwing weapons at us, you go left and I go right, and hopefully, they can't catch up both."
Yumi, on the other hand, nodded gravely at John. "Yeah. Whatever lives you guys may have, anything that's going on besides the situation at hand is suspended. I'll bring them down to the scanner room, if that's all right, Jeremie?" She shrugged, shooting him a helpless look. "I don't think we have any choice."
