Update 22/12/2011:-

Two teams battle it out for fame and glory in this epic showdown. The objective is to beat the other team and score enough points to win each round. Here is how this is going to work:

1- Minimum number of players: Once we reach sixteen players, the event is set to start.

2- The group stage: all the players who sign up will move to this stage. They will be randomly divided into four groups of four.

3- Each group will be appointed a time/date for it's series of challenges. Then the challenges start and only the top two ranked players will progress from each group.

4- Knockout stage: With eight players left, they will move to the knockout stage where the loser is instantly eliminated.

The leader of group A will face the #2 of group B (Match 1).
The leader of group B will face the #2 of group A (Match 2).
The leader of group C will face the #2 of group D (Match 3).
The leader of group D will face the #2 of group C (Match 4).

Four players will progress. Then the winner of Match 1 will face the winner of Match 2. The winner of Match 3 will face the winner Of Match 4.

5- The final: The last two players square off against each other to determine the champion of the individual challenges.

6- Forming the two teams: Both winner and the runner-up are declared team leaders. They take turns picking their teammates from the list of the participants with the champion starting first and choosing two.

7- Both groups are asked to name their teams and... the real challenge begins!

{Important to read}

* You get Cps for participating AND winning each round.

* If you miss a challenge or choose to "pass" it, you will get no points/Cps, but you can continue with the next challenge. Only for group stage.

* If you are declared champion/runner-up and you don't wish to be a team leader, you can give it to someone else providing that they agree.

* Both the champion and the runner-up will be honored in the wall of fame.

Do I have to do the whole preliminary round, or can I just take being chosen last as a consequence or something. Because I am a complete wet rag and don't want to do the whole competition, considering I don't want to be a leader anyway.

You can choose not to participate and sign up after the teams are chosen. Ofc you may not get the team you 'want' though.

Why participate?

1- It's fun. If you don't think it is, I doubt you'd want to sign up/be part of a team later.

2- You can participate, go for the win and when you do get leadership, pass it to one of your friends so you have better chances of being in the same team.

3- It is fun.
