So the update seems to be almost done.

As a disadvantage, except for all the complaints and slowness, your characters will have to be rebooted a bit. No worries, you won't lose any experience, levels or CPs, you'll just get your stats back to normal and a whole lot of points to re-divide, as well as a new choice for talents and the likes.

Update isn't quite done yet. But in order to hopefully speed things up, you folks could already work on your characters. To do so~

You may change class if you like. Preferably not, but it's possible! Whether you do or don't, you should go to the class page and copy all the base stats listed there, including a talent you want and the skill you get.

You may keep your free skill, or discard it and create a new one.

Your armor dissapears. Poof, gone! But you will keep all your weaponary and items.

Well, items. some things have changed: you cannot have two stacks anymore. So should you have more stacks, you should report that and you'll get your money back. In fact, you can sell any item or ability back, because some items have changed in effect too (mainly potions).

As for re-dividing points.

You should re-design your weaponry according to the format which you can find.. somewhere. The practice hall, probably. Take into account the level of your item, which allows you to put more points into it.

You also get to divide points to your primary and secondary stats again.

5 experience needed - you're level 1 and get 2/6 points.
10 experience needed - you're level 2 and get 4/8 points.
15 experience needed - you're level 3 and get 6/10 points.

And so on! Please do post all that information somewhere on your character info and I'll attempt to update it!

Just to clear up something I think Railen was trying to say.

5 experience is what you need to go from level 1 to level 2, not to level 1.
Also, the next level says "10 experience needed", it doesn't include the first 5 you got.

As in it takes:
5 total experience to go to level 2
15 total experience to go to level 3
30 total experience to go to level 4
50 total experience to go to level 5

And so on and so forth. In the simplest terms, the leveling is totally unchanged.

Ok then, also how do we go about selling items/abilities? Do we just say it here or something? Or should I just say as such in the thread?

You're confusing me, Atlas.

What I meant to say was exactly what I said.

Some people might wonder exactly how many points they can divide. Well, if your experience bar says that you need 5 xp to go to the next level, that means you are currently level 1 and you have 2/4 points to spend. If your bar says you need 10 xp, that means you are at that moment level 2 and you get 4/6 points etc.

Railen is more lazy than ever!

That is, he is encountering a small productivity issue. The new battle system works great and is very balanced, and there even exists a program that automates pretty much all calculations. However, even with that, it seems to **** up tremendous amounts of time. Replying to every post once a day requires way more than it should, let alone reply twice or more (and honestly, the arena should get at least three replies a day to keep things running smoothly).

SO, Railen has been searching for alternatives to make things go much, much faster. He has his eye set on something (called PHP and MySQL) but this is a rather complicated issue and will take time before completion.

So, Railen chickens out for now as he tries to figure that out, and puts your destiny in the hands of Atlas[insert random number]. Yup, he'll be replying for your battling and arena needs for now, with me in the background dealing only with health and stuff. That severely reduces the time I have to spend on it, so I can focus more on the other things, and it should be more active for all members, too! And no worries, it'll remain fair.
