I also find that quite funny. Sometimes I make a reference to the fact they got de-virtualized to a block. Though there was an error. Odd had his Shield in the first half of the episode but doesn't get it untill season two or three.

Teddygodzilla tells us very little about CL, and that is not a good first episode.

It's a common theory that Jeremie gave Odd his shield after taking Future Flash away because his only defence was his agility and without a power or defence he would've been less useful and more likely to be devirtualised quicker.

I think if anything they shouldn't have put the shield in Xana Awakens, but Future Flash. But then again, the fans would get annoyed because Moonscoop omitted it but brought it back for one episode...so I think the shield shouldn't have appeared, it was bad for continuity.

BUT this was a good episode, it was very fun seeing everyone's first trip to Lyoko and how everyone got involved, including Sissi. To think she was almost part of the gang, if it weren't for that one slip-up D: I think she could've made a good addition.

But if she didn't screw up she might've been a completely different person. If she's been part of the gang since Teddygozilla, you wouldn't have the "I hate Sissi" mindset beforehand and would accept her as a main character from the start.

I really don't think the involvement with Lyoko would change her bratty attitude towards others. She might act nicer to the gang but thats about it.

We'll really never know. She could've been an entirely different character if she were part of the gang, and somewhat less bratty. The creators could've done whatever they wanted with her. Heck, she could've even turned out nice to everyone. Honestly there's just no way of telling.

X = Good, bad, worse, or I'd rather not talk about it.

Good = less bratty, and overall a more likable character.
Bad= Same as in show.
Worse= She almost tells someone on multi-able occasions.
I'd rather not talk about it= falling into digital sea three times a week.... enough said plus what happens in Worse.

Thats just my intake.

Lets finish this discussion in the Sissi topic. Back on track.... Where do you think that Miya came from for Aelita's name. It could represent that he found some "ancient" ruins. Ancient in the usage of it's not common.

Maya is a computer application that lets you build CG images. The only difference between it and Aelita's name given by Jeremie, Maïa, is the spelling.
That's always what I think of when it's mentioned lol, since Aelita appeared as CGI.

I have to say that I don't really like these episodes.

Moonscoop did many paradoxes as in telling us that all 4 seasons happened under one year. And the way the character interacts with each other is totally different than in the first season (and being the ultimate first season tard, I don't like it.).

Of course they have some similarities with Garage Kids, (The Yumi/Ulrich scene and the fact that Odd is a new student) but... reffering to each other by last name when they are in 2nd grade?

I really hate Yumi's introduction. It's wrong troughout the story. Not only the fact that she and Jeremie were much closer friends in first season,(I can understand it, because MS did fail at times, randomly introducing Hiroki in the second season while there was no trace of him in the first) but even in the last episode Jeremie says to her "Do you remember how I was before we discovered the supercalculator?"... If Ulrich introduces Yumi to Jeremy, then how are they supposed to know each other?

I think that CL creators had the ending in mind when they created "XANA awakens". The fact that Sissi joined them in the last episode is totally OOC for everything, but that's sorta continuation of where XA left out since at first Sissi was supposed to be a Lyoko Warrior.

I like the XANA attack though. It's pretty original. xD

Actually, Jeremie did state this in 'A Lack of Goodwill', a season 4 episode...

"We began fighting XANA about two years ago."

This very much disproves that the Lyoko Warriors did everything in under one year.

Formal thing, common in English private schools. I don't think Kadic's private though...maybe it's just a French thing lol.

Just because they don't know each other personally it doesn't mean they didn't know the other existed :3 I take note of other people at school even if I don't know them, and if Jeremie was a loner and stayed in his room all day others are bound to notice.

The Hiroki thing is like Aelita's backflip [being discussed in another topic]; in order to make things more interesting Moonscoop added what Antefilms had left out. They could've done something to patch the hole, but obviously they didn't bother :/

Oh, and I found out something else about the name Maia: in French "my IA" is pronounced "my ee-ah," Maia.

I alwys thoght that they were in 7th/8th grde, with Yumi & Willem in 8th/9th...

I thnk that the last name thng is just a part of ther cultre. I meen, Jim hardly ever calld sombdy by ther first name...
