History Hunters: August
-Reported by the Desert Sector
General Chat News
--There's a new subsection in General Talk called "Fan Clubs", and basically you can create a fanclub for anything you want, as long as you can prove you have three people who will join/post with you in there. As of August 30, 2011, we have two fanclubs, for Harry Potter and Slipknot
--A few veterans wandered in (Kitty (Kittyclaw) and Rena (RenaYumi) actually), and we now have a quotes thread (which is already being filled with questionable content)
--We threw Rai a "surprise party", which was really a thread that everyone posted their well wishes in
--The three other new threads that were created in the month of August are (in order of oldest created to newest created) "Letters", "Best Disney movies ever", and "Other Forums"
--It's incredibly hard to summarise General Chat, just because of all the activity the forum's been experiencing, but a few random subjects I noticed while I was going through the thread are: Bugs/Spiders, Mod Fights (not what you think it is), Rena and Kitty came back(!), Harry Potter
Code Lyoko Chat News
--Three character analyses have been created for Odd, Ulrich, and Aelita.
--A new thread about first impressions of Code Lyoko has been created
--Three new character discussion threads have been made also, one for Willy (William's Clone), Jim, and Sissi
--A discussion about the theme song of Code Lyoko has been started as well
--A thread has been started for the Stern Family
--Overall, the Code Lyoko section has had a good amount of activity in the month of August. All summer we've had increased activity, but there are a lot of posts discussing the characters, weapons, and plotholes among other things.
Polling Station
--A new thread pitting Asparagus, Ninjas, Pirates, and Ferrets against each other has been made (with Ninjas in the lead as of August 31, 2011, 7:51 PM EDT (Eastern Daylight Time))
Sector Competitions
--Forest has won the first challenge (to get any five achievements after the challenge was posted); congrats Foresters!
Arcade
--M&P is starting up again. A veterans-only game is starting first to give the newer members a chance to experience it, and then a game open to everyone will open up after that one finishes.
--The Arcade is much more active than it has been in the past, and the games are all very active
--Mystery Members v2 has also replaced Mystery Members, though Kelly (aelitaxwilliam) hasn't been updating it (AeonFrodo won the first round)
* We are awaiting one or two more games for the arcade, as picked by Twiggy.
* The 3500th reasons has been found in "A Million Reasons To....." by AeonFrodo
* A 2nd topic for 'Ban the User Above You' 3rd 'Assume Something' and nth for "A Million Reasons To....." was needed and created.
Arena
-Railen released some major patches.
-Atlas, Eilorae and Enzo were hired to do some betatesting.
-A new Earth roleplay section opened.
-Railen needs a break.
