Just a thought, but how about if you hit 0 during a mission you're just devirtualized, and can't participate in the mission any longer? That way the punishment for death is just that you get either reduced or no reward for mission completion, and you can just go into the next mission with full health and energy.

In diong that, it's possible to abuse that feature. Smile Low on health? No problem, just quickly die on a mission you don't want to join anyway, and bam!

Agree that it could be abusable. One more thing it would benefit is the value of CPs. You would have to participate more in the GA and the other games/competitions to get the required Cps for your needs.

I think that one should be optional. I mean, some of us are trying to save up CP. XD So make it optional. XD then people won't get all mad when they end up not being able to get something at the store or go to Carthage because they don't have CP. XD

It could be optional and the penalty could be not getting as much stuff from your participation since you didn't make it all the way through. Like if the prize is 6 xp and you make it halfway through you get 3 xp. Or something like that. I think you know what I mean. ^^"

Like illustrated, that system can be heavily abused. And there already is a penalty for not participating a lot/falling inactive/being way too high level.

Angel, at first, I felt EXACTLY the same way as you. 'Why should I lose the Cps I worked to get' or 'What if I' m saving for something'. I thought unselfishly about it and I saw it as something that would benefit everyone.

1- No one would have an insane amount of unused Cps. I used to have +15 and never thought of spending it...

2- Losing your Cps would encourage you to participate in Arcade games/competitions/GA missions/any sort of event that rewards Cps.

3- Everyone would be on the same level. Meaning everyone would have a "fair" chance. If someone goes to carthage, buys skill points with his 20Cps and goes overpowered, no one would be able to do anything about it. The current system simply encourages more work and benefits everyone.

I wasn't expecting so much conversation over my comment though.
Hmmm...

Okay, so how about when you hit health 0 you fall unconscious, and the penalty for that is to start exhausted the next time you revive whether through first aid or some other method? Exhaustion is a pretty heavy debuff, so if you come back into the fight, you'll be a lot weaker. And if you're out of a mission and at 0, you can buy energy potions, which is a small charge of cp.

I don't think about going to the store just for the plain fact that I end up forgetting I have stuff. xD And then it's taking up space. XD
