M&P 3
Okay, for all of the veterans here, you know what this is all about. For all of the newlings...you may have a clue or you may not. M&P has a long history here on XL, most of which I do not know. But the part of it I do know...well it's fun. Only M&P Veterans can "play" this particular game, however, even if you can't play this, read the rules and skip to the bottom. You can still participate in the most important part.
It's your standard mystery game. One person is the host, one person is the murderer, and one person is a psychic. Everyone else is the victims...er...well yeah, victims. The identitiy of the murderer and psychic is confidential...only the host knows (of course the murderer knows who the murderer is and the psychic knows who the psychic is.). The Psychic knows the identity of th murderer and the murder knows pretty much nothing.
Now, the murderer kills people. Who the murderer kills is usually up to them, but how much the host decides and how much the murderer decides is up to those two (when I hosted before, I gave my murderer free rein to kill whomever he wished, however he wanted, and what clues to leave. But you could work it out so the murderer decides who gets murderered and you decide the fashion and all that jazz). One person is gotten rid of each time I post, and then the victims all vote for who they think is the murderer and that person leaves the game. Of course, there will be clues hidden in each message and you can discuss it all.
So that's the game, in a nutshell. Any questions? There probably is, and there's probably a more clear and easier understanding somewhere around here. But that's why we made this rule for this particular game:
This will be a quick, VETERANS-only game. That means that only veteran characters will be used and only veterans can vote. So if you haven't played M&P or one of it's variants here, then you can't play. Sorry.
HOWEVER, in this particular game, all you wonderful newlings can come on over and discuss clues in this topic. In fact, we would love for you to do that. It would be absolutely fantastic. So really, you can pretty much play, you just won't be killed and you can't vote, but you can convince others to vote.
So, I'll host. Who's in? If you want to be the M or the P, shoot me a PM (Ha, PM- Psychic and Murderer. Coincidense?) and I'll tell ya whether you're in or not. If no one volunteers, I will pick people.
And if you want to know why we decided that it would be veterans only...well shoot me a PM and I'll explain in rambly paragraphs. A long explanation in a few words is: the game is pretty self-explanatory, but it can still be confusing and this will give you experience so you can play for realz later, and it'll be a hundred times more fun.
But seriously, even if you haven't played before....participate, s'il vous plait.

Okay, I think we have enough people, so this is my last call.
Also, class, if people dont' start raising their hands, I'm going to have to call on someone. (Seriously, someone volenteer for the Murderer or Psychic, anyone).

Re: M&P 3
Flat, I thought, and it seemed like most that was the only word to describe the place. I think all of us agreed with my thought, based on the confused and somewhat disgusted on their faces.
The sky was the dark blue of the approaching daybreak and the morning seemed surreal as some type of plant swayed in the wind: I could hear it rustling against each other. But there was not tree or hill in sight. I heard an owl hooting in the distance, but that and the rustling was all I could detect.
“Eww!” Kelly said. “Where are we?” She was wearing a backpack that wasn’t hers, we were all wearing a version of these backpacks, though I couldn’t see what was inside with the light the way it was.
“I don’t know,” Aeon said. “I didn’t even know you were with us.” She began counting heads or at least figures. “How many of us are there, anyway, let’s see…eight maybe, no…I think nine.”
“I don’t think any of us expected this,” Stella reasoned. “I mean, I was just reading and the next thing I know, I’m here.” She rubbed a spot on her knows where she told us she tripped in the dark.
“I was sleeping,” Legend grunted.
Railen shrugged. “It seems pretty odd to me, I mean most of us were just doing something normal…” A strangled sob could be heard. Everyone’s attention was drawn to a few feet past Railen.
At the edge of our little clearing (there were no plants in it) we could all see Enzo. He was kicking at the little plants, muttering what was probably dirty words in a different language.
“I was doing something really important,” he explained when he saw us staring. “A little more tweaking and it would have been perfect to take over the world. PERFECT!”
Rena walked over to comfort him. “There, there, Enzo,” she said, “as soon as we figure out where we are, how to get home, and then get there, you can take over the world. I promise.”
Memo turned to us. "Why do I feel like this has happened before?" But no one answered. It was silent for a moment until:
“And then we were just knocked out or something and ended up here,” Railen continued. We all turned to look at him but he just shrugged and stared at something in the sky.
None of us knew really what to do, and I walked over to a group of people were we had a casual chat about the inner-workings of a cat’s liver.
Eventually the sky grew to be a blood red color, signaling sunrise. It was beautiful, which meant we all stared in wonder for fifteen seconds before Kelly piped up, “I’m board, let’s look for a town or civilation, or something!”
We all nodded and Aeon started walking in a direction opposite of the sunrise. “No use of us all getting blinded while we’re here.”
We continued walking for what felt like hours, but according to Memo’s watch was only thirty- five minutes until we came across a small town. However, it was deserted. The signs were all in a language I couldn’t understand, but somewhere said lowly that it was a hotel.
I couldn’t believe we hadn’t seen this from farther back. A closer look at Rena’s watch revealed we really had been walking for hours, though it was sort of obvious when we thought about it, since the sun was overhead.
“It’s funny,” Memo said, “I didn’t even remember having a watch.”
“Well this one is definitely my own,” Rena said.
“Well, why don’t we stay here for a while,” I said, referring to the ghost town. “It will give us some shelter, especially from that storm coming.”
I was right, there was a storm coming in the distance. The clouds were an angry dark color and lightening started flashing.
“That’s weird,” Enzo said.
“What do you mean,” Legend asked him.
“Well, it’s just, most of the plants are sort of wilted. It just seems like this place hasn’t seen rain in a really long time.”
Enzo was right, but we just attributed it to bad luck, obviously our track record wasn’t the best. Not when it came to luck.
But we decided to take shelter anyway. The lobby had one of those old player pianos and someone started playing it. "I recognize this song," someone said, "I think it was on a video game I played once." I sort of recognized it too, when I thought about it.
We walked into an old hotel room and decided to all share two rooms, one for the guys, and one for the girls, since no one was too fond of being by themselves in a ghost town with who knows what.
“Safety in numbers,” Rena said while smiling nervously. We heard thunder in the distance, the storm was getting closer.
After sitting in the girls’ room and telling ghost stories for a few hours and finding that in the backpack there was snacks and matches, among other things. “Handcuffs?” Enzo asked. Why do we need handcuffs?”
“I don’t know,” Aeon said, “maybe it’s a joke?”
“It must be,” I said.
Eventually the guys left the room and we got settled to go to bed, courtesy of some old mattresses left behind while scavenging some other rooms on this floor. At one point, the hotel room must have been a suite. It was pretty large, in comparison to other hotel rooms we had seen here.
We all settled to sleep, even though it wasn’t very late. A few minutes later, I looked out the window. A weird shade had come over our hotel room, and outside was no better. The sky had a green tinge to it.
Kelly had also woken up and was staring out the window. “That can’t be good.”
“I think you have a point.”
We decided to wake everybody up, and so we did, but Stella was nowhere to be found.
We decided to wake up the guys before we looked for her, but she was still nowhere to be found in the hotel. “Maybe she’s outside?” Railen said.
We all nodded and agreed to go out there. The second we stepped outside, it was obvious where Stella had gone.
Her corpse was on the ground. The first thing I noticed was the blueness of her lips and nails, followed by a red stream of blood tripping from her nose. A few feet from where she laid, a few feet away from the hotel, there was a pile of vomit. Her face had scratches that were oozing some blood too. Two of the most noticeable were on her chin and forehead and I was sure that if she was alive, they would become scars.
“What do you think happened to her?” Kelly and Aeon asked at the same time.
“I think we can worry about that a bit later,” Railen said and pointed to the side.
Coming straight towards us was a tornado.

So there you have it. Try to find clues. I put a lot of different clues for a lot of different people in here, and the one you're looking for may be obvious or it may not (it might not even be in there, who knows?)
Send me in you votes by Sunday Night, and even if you're not participating, feel free to talk over who you think the killer is (this includes all the newlings!)

I seriously have no idea D: I'm so confused right now.
But I just have to say, your (or whoever the killer is) description of Stella's death is just gross.

I liked the descriptions. x3 You should really imagine it. xD Which is why I fully understand why Kelly thinks it's gross. XD

Shadows, you sneaky you! since we have the word shade and your username is SeeMeInTheShadows you obviously did it. Having a word from your username somewhere in a text is like... calling the police to confess a murder.SeeMeInTheShadows wrote:A weird shade had come over our hotel room

Hey Aeon, since I directed you to this thread, I know you've found it. I should also say that I voted for you for no reason except for the fact that I didn't know who else to vote for.
I really hope other people vote, because it'd be horrible of her to get out on my randomness.
