Me: I get so annoyed ith the girls at school who spend ages after PE puttin makeup on, they're always in front of the mirrors whicha re in front of the sinks, so you can't wash your hands.

Me: I've used a German keyboard before. The only difference aside from the accent keys is that Y and Z are swapped around.
Down: Knows, without Googling, why this is and why French keyboards are different as well.

Me: we went kayaking in the sea today it was awesome, but then me and my friend capsized and the kayak hit my head D:

Me: The keyboards are different because different languages use different letters more. For example the German one; since English is a Germanic language they're almost the same, but the Z and Y are swapped because they don't use Y as much as we do, and use Z more. It's the same with French, some of the letters are still in the same place, especially on the right side of the keyboard, so you can see it's built off the QWERTY design. /technical stoof

Me: Well, there's two ways to say 'for' in Spanish. D: I think the French equivalent of para/por is par/pour.

Me: Actually, the French for 'for' is just 'pour' and 'par' means 'by' |3 There's no gender in the word for. Genders can get confusing in languages you don't know though, lol.

Up: I don't know o_o I've never thought about it.
Me: Gender makes everything confusing when you take a word from a Romance language and put it in English. Like blond(e) and brunet(te) for example, even though we don't have gendered words it still applies to those ones. In British English anyway. Personally I'm bad with when to make words agree with the noun in gender and number :U
Down: Is also learning a language where everything has to agree with the noun.

Me: In your case yes, that would be horrible. But if it's something like, I dunno, bike safety or going out late with a boy I think it's a good thing. In the case of my dad, anyway.

Me: Ugh, my dad is so annoying when it comes to that stuff D: He once told me I was dressing like a (since the forum censors it, it's a four letter word starting with s, and means something along the lines of a girl who's partially allergic to clothing) for wearing a spaghetti strap dress.
