Me: Incidentally, my dad was getting tired after a long day of no sleep while driving home from picking my little brother up from camp. He started drifting through lanes, almost hitting a car one time. ...I was in the co-pilot seat and I warned that If he fell asleep on the wheel I'd go on the shoulders, put him in the co-pilot seat, and drive the rest of the way home. He didn't drift after that. ...I guess the thought of a 15 year old who has no idea of what she's doing woke him up... especially when said girl purposely drives backwards in Nascar to crash into other virtual drivers.
Down: Swam to the shore before the sharks came? I did. *laughs*

Up: *panting heavily after crawling up on shore* apparently sharks don't like straight jackets. We need to work on your rescue skills.
Me: Yep... Can't imagine why he wouldn't want you behind the wheel...
Down: Has noticed the bite wound yet?

Me: Sharks think surfers are like seals in the water... which is why they try to take a chunk out of them (but they don't really like humans, because they like seals better).
Down: Is a land-shark and can swim through water as if it were land?

Up: Can swim through water like land??? Sure.
Me: I have heard that sharks have some means of detecting that humans are a poor energy source and not worth the effort of killing and eating which is why they don't like us.
Down: Worst part about owning a pool?

Up: The Cost and effort of maintaining it. You have to open your pool, maintain it, maintain the water so it's not cloudy, shock the pool, make sure the lining of the pool doesn't come off (in most cases, it won't be completely fixed, it comes off again, and you have to replace the liner), clean up the bottom of the pool, etc., and then close the pool when it starts to get cold.
Me: Plus, a pool is like a giant tanning booth. A watery one. Go to Cancun during February, 3 days in the pool, about 2 hours per day, and you can actually get a medium tan (without standing all day on the Beach).
Down: Finds no fascination in tanning?

Me: Wonders what's so great about getting a mild sunburn over and over and over again.
Down: Is your pool in-ground?

Up: Yes. Not-in-ground pools are kinda small...
Me: People like to be not pale, I guess. ...though I guess that getting sunburn a thousand times would be like getting a 2nd degree burn... (not 4th degree burns, those are even worse).
Down: Knows why people like tanning?

Up: People say it makes them look better, more healthy. *shrugs shoulders* At least that's what I've heard.
Me: The skin damage is cumulative, I think. I'm not sure if sun exposure could cause anything more than a second degree burn without being concentrated.
Down: What is a pool liner made of?

Up: Plastic, I suppose, because ours is made out of plastic. ...it's more durable, I guess.
Me: ...yeah... I love diving a lot...
Down: Went kayaking in their pool?

Up: Doesn't have a pool and no.
Me: The only thing I know about diving is that you're supposed to make the smallest possible splash when entering the water.
Down: Is good at diving?

Up: From small diving boards yes. From higher diving boards... I dunno... my good sense was telling me not to do that and perform an "Ulrich", hit the surface of the water with a belly-flop and almost drown.
Me: Though drowning won't probably happen because I can swim. ...I wonder if I really can swim to shore if I was on a cruise ship (like one of the Princess liners I was on when I visited Alaska), and the ship was sinking.
Down: Went on a cruise ship?

Down: Whether or not you'd make it depends on how far from shore you were and how cold the water was.
Up: Regrets not trying the higher board?

Up: Nope. I'm paranoid to believe I would either have neck problems or encounter paralysis if I dived wrong off of the high board in my county college...

Up: No, I'm not really a traveler.
Me: Well I hope you laughed at me, I did. I kind of feel like leaving that there.
Down: Is wondering if I've had too much to drink?

Up: Is wondering if you got drunk on chocolate milk (I did that once... we sorta made slushies of chocolate milk by freezing it, and eating it before the whole thing was solidified (though most of it had to be slushy or more solid))
Me: I don't want to laugh at people... ...I also don't think this is a spam fest, because nobody's here, and we're livening up the place. Besides, we're making coherent speech/posts and stuff...
Down: Loves the song they're listening to right now.
