Transcribing the Scyphozoa
I want to write the sound. You know the one. The one that the Scyphozoa makes when it shows up, that has the odd power of defying description, and, especially, transcription.
The best I've come up with is :
“Mnyaeygh”
How would you write it?

Re: Transcribing the Scyphozoa
This post made me laugh out loud. Well, almost. My dad's trying to sleep. o_o
The scyphozoa is extremely....weird....hard to describe. I believe in Readon I described it as a low screech and the sound of ketchup being squeezed out of its packet. But "mnyaeygh" is probably better if we're going for onomatopoeia.
