I don't understand Homecoming's origins either. All I know is it's huge in school spirit and a parade and obnoxious people at football games.

I don't go to the Homecoming football game, since I find watching sports to be boring, I'd much rather play in them, but I do enjoy the Homecoming dance on the weekend of the game. While the music may be bad because they always play hip-hop, i do like hanging out with my friends if they go, and this year i'm bringing possibly the coolest, funniest, craziest, quirkest, prettiest girl ever. So I'm gonna have lots of fun!  Usually people just wear jeans and a t-shirt since the dress code just says anything that would be appropriate for school, but I never pass up a chance to wear my tux and she's wearing her dress so, hey? why not?
