So today I watched some more pop songs on YouTube, and I stumbled upon (not StumbleUpon, fyi) some Britney Spears, "Oops I Did It Again." From there I watched "Piece of Me." And I was honestly surprised at how much she'd changed between the two videos. It felt strange to be hearing her voice out of that face.

After that I watched Lady Gaga, and nothing was weird anymore.

Mostly bad ones of preschool when they played that song for us and we all danced to it. Well, all except me. And then they went and made a video out of it and gave it to all the parents on VHS, and there I am, right in the middle in my pink overalls, just standing around awkwardly while everyone else dances like crazy. I think I was having a bad day, because one of the girls tried to dance with me, but I kind of shook her off. I do remember already being upset when they started it because I was late in getting my chair in the circle and as soon as I set it down they whisked me away. I thought that dance was punishment, and I've never liked dancing ever since.

But I really do like this song. I want to play it in the jazz band at gigs and stuff.

(The problem with being in a choir is that you get exposed to a lot of church music, and lots of church music is amazingly awesome/beautiful/earwormy because the composers want to give their best to God.
