Working Title

OK Guys, a couple of you (Soul, Adventurer, Affa, and Atlas I think) were on the chatbox, and I said I'd do a crossover fic between DW and CL. I have an idea of how I want to do it, but I'm kinda at a loss for how to start. SUGGESTIONS. Also, open to suggestions for general plot and stuff, mine is flexible at the moment.

SG, I'm sure I was brimming with ideas for this at one point, but... What are your initial thoughts, so I have more of an idea of how to help you build on them? I think my first thought for the premise of a CL/DW crossover would be something like the Doctor coming to Kadic to investigate strange happenings, but... XD

I actually hadn't planned on including The Doctor until the very end, if at all. Here's what I had in mind

- Lyoko's super computer is really powered by a fragment of the Eye of Harmony. This is how RTTP is possible. Also, the reason this whole computer was possible is because Franz and Antea were companions of The Doctor at one time. Aelita, like River, is a child of the TARDIS. The men in black are members of the order of the Silence. They're after the fragment of the eye, because they believe they can trace the power that the TARDIS pulls from it back to The Doctor to kill him. (for those who don't know, the Eye of Harmony was the power source of the Time Lords, AKA Star of Rassilon. This provided a conduit to send power through all of space and time to keep each individual TARDIS's Heart of the TARDIS alive with power.) After the Time War, the Doctor wanted to continue travelling, so he hid a Fragment of the Eye of Harmony on earth with people he could trust, as the real Eye was now time locked, and unusable. My thoughts are that a mysterious signal starts being broadcast from the super computer, not detectable by human tech, but jer somehow discovers it. (the purpose of the signal is to get the doctor back to fix the eye of harmony fragment). Somehow Jer activates a hidden subroutine which opens up the outer chamber of the super computer, showing the sash of rassilon (unbeknownst to them) on the floor, and torn wires everywhere. The silents aren't going to make a full appearance, as they must be stealthy because of the kill all silents on sight orders that the doctor gave them. The story is going to basically be them finding out how to fix the super computer on their own, and just as the Doctor appears, after a lengthy interrogration, they ask him for help with XANA. XANA as it turns out, is a virus written to destroy his TARDIS. He directed Franz and Anthea to build the SC to trap XANA, and try to tame him. The Doctor inquires why he was summoned, and they explain that the power source had been disconnected. He then disappears with some line about, got to head to demons run or something, basically implying that they will be taken care of.

That sounds incredible! I’m not sure if I understand it completely (I’m not completely caught up on Doctor Who yet), but it seems just as confusing & exciting as a real Doctor Who ep…
The only thing I want to quickly point out is that there already are a couple of DW/CL cross overs…but your idea is completely different, so you don’t really have to worry about them…
