The Colosseum

For those of you who want practice against certain types of foes, the Colosseum program is for you.
We've designed it much like a Danger Room, where we can alter the terrain and types of enemies you face from the console.

You'll gain the same experience you would facing normal monsters, only there won't be any CP or other material awards.

To start, simply post in here what kind of enemies you want to face and how many. Anything about the terrain is optional, but up to you if you'd like.
The battle itself will be done in a separate thread.

Does the red title mean it's out of order, or just that it's really cool. I'm asking because once the Arena is operational, I'd like to give it a shot.

In the previous version of the Arena a red colored mission meant that it was possible that your character would be permanently removed from the game. This was done as a "if you were paying attention you would know" and to help the managers organize the missions themselves and know what rules to play with.

I dunno why the Colosseum in specific is red though since while you can simulate Earth missions you wouldn't actually lose your character if they fell here.

Must have been some kind of mistake. But yeah, the Colosseum is returning in Arena 3.0!

SWEET! Can't wait, also i'm glad to hear that you're character won't actually die if you get devirtualized in the new Colosseum. 

One more thing, I'm sure everyone has noticed that there is a certain rank given to those with certain amounts of posts. These ranks are based on X.A.N.A.'s monsters. I was wondering, is there a Kolossus rank, and if so, how many posts are required to achieve it?

There is indeed a Kolossus and even a Scyphozoa rank, but those are actually awarded based on purchasing those special ranks from Carthage.

Carthage is a secret section of the site where you can spend CPs to earn unique rewards and such. You don't need to be part of the Arena to go there but atm you do need to spend 3 CPs for entry.

Sweet, I'd love to have that rank. Anyways, I think I'll save up my CP's until I think I have enough to actually afford something worthwhile in Carthage, wouldn't want to spend 3 CPs for nothing. xD

Carthage is still under reconstruction anyway. Although the construction staff seems to have gone on strike recently.
