Flash's eyes grew wide and looked at Batman for a moment to make sure he wouldn't punch him across the face; once reassurred, he turned back to his nephew and whispered back, "It's fine, I don't think the new ones will figure anything out from it. Trust me."

The speedster crosses his arms, going into his professional Justice League mode, though is still weary of a possible back hand from Batman. He was used to getting those.

"Flash, good to see you."Superman said, smiling a bit."Hmm, you didn't miss much. Batman was proposing to give these young heroes the weekend off"

Nightmare blinked."N..Nephew?"He said in surprise, then glanced between Flash and Kid Flash."..I can see an uncanny resemblance. Even if your identities are secret, anyone could tell a connection between you two."

"Oh darn, I missed one of Batman's famous speeches," Flash says in mock dissappointment as he snaps his fingers. He then smirks at Kid Flash and says in a low quick voice that no one could understand from the speed, "Toldyanoonecouldfigureitout."

[K.F. (Kid Flash)]

Kid Flash just sighs at what his uncle says to him.

Batman gives Flash a stern glare.

"Ok let's start this pool party then!" Kid Flash exclaims hoping to change the subject. "I sure can't wait to see a certain someone in their swimsuit..." he says as he looks at Artemis with raised eyebrows.

Artemis smirks at him and says, "I sure hope you've been working on those abs speed boy."

[K.F. (Kid Flash)]

"Well you should know...Baywatch is at your service 24/7 beautiful..." Kid Flash replies with a huge smile on his face along with his eyebrows still raised.

"While they are having their pool party...we need to have a talk..." Batman says especially looking at Flash with his stern glare fixed on him.

Flash rubs the back of his neck sheepishly at Batman's tone as he gives an innocent smile in the dark knight's direction.

[K.F. (Kid Flash)]

Batman keeps his glare on Flash even despite his innocent smile.

"The briefing is over. Enjoy your weekend..." he says as heads towards the teleporter.

Superman lightly chuckled at the antics. He smiled, glancing to Batman."Let them have their fun, Even young heroes need a vacation after all, right?"He went out and gave the young heroes a smile."You guys have fun."

Nightmare blinked and looked at Kid Flash."O..Okay, I will be totally honest with you..this is very..VERY awkward.."

[K.F. (Kid Flash)]

"Well it seems the young heroes aren't the ones that we need to be keeping an eye on..." Batman says while still giving Flash a stern glare.

Kid Flash ignored Nightmare unknowingly and looked at his uncle almost as if he wondered if he could help in some way.

The Flash looked at the young members in the room and nodded in Superman's direction with a smile, "I agree. We were all young and crazy once. Except maybe..." his eyes ventured over in Batman's direction who still had his glare."Anyway, you kids have fun."

Regaining his official Justice League stance he then said - especially to Kid Flash, "Don't get yourselves into trouble. Got it?"

Superman exited the room, waving to the group with a small smile and then waited for Flash.

Nightmare glanced to Flash and gave a small nod, glancing over towards Kid Flash."I'll help him stay out of trouble."

[K.F. (Kid Flash)]

"Hey Batman is ok if Flash can hang out with us for awhile?" Kid Flash asks with hope to delay his uncle's "talk" with him.

"I mean we're usually so busy doing our own things that I never get to hang out with him." he finishes hoping to persuade him.

"All right...but be ready in case something comes up." Batman says with a heavy sigh to Flash. He heads towards the teleporter as he is scanned..recognized, Batman 02...he then looks back at Flash as he leaves "Don't think I will forget our talk though."

The Flash gives his nephew a grateful smile; but upon hearing Batman's final sentence, he winces slightly. The man in the red suit turns and waves to Batman and then looks to see if Superman is leaving as well.

Artemis grins at the two speedsters. It was sweet how they had eachother's backs. She was sure he was grateful. Afterall, not many are able to escape a famous Batman lecture.

Nightmare stood and watched the group, then glanced down, growing exceedingly nervous."I..err..better get something to drink."He exited the room, heading towards the kitchen.

[K.F. (Kid Flash)]

Kid Flash gave his uncle a huge smile and wink.

"So I don't about you but I'm starving!" he exclaimed to his uncle while holding his growling stomach. "Oh by the way Nightmare...there's a fridge over there." he says nodding to the fridge in the corner.

"any other hints you have for me father."

"seek those your age in body but not in mind."

"you mean to tell me I'm looking for kids!" Theo shouted "You got to be joking father."

His father voice didn't come back to him. Theo's burst of anger had disrupted the connection.

Theo opened his eyes "great... again I lose the connection to anger..." He growled "but those I seek are kids?! Great this is going to go over well how's a bunch of kids supposed to help me fight evil. hmm... well got to find them first... then I can test them."

"You're always hungry," Artemis said. She turned to see that the older speedster had already sped off, put ten sandwiches together, and was sitting on the couch eating them. "Honestly, sometimes speedster eating habits sicken me," she said as she shook her head.

"Of course he is."Nightmare said to Artemis, frowning and got a bottle of water, sipping from it."And yes, I am much inclined to agree with you, his eating habits make my stomach turn."

Artemis reached into the fridge and got a simple bottle of water. With her planning on possibly working out for at least two hours before Wally's...interesting pool party begins, she needed to be hydrated.

"Tell me about it," she said as she leaned against the kitchen counter. "So why do you call yourself Nightmare?"

Superboy walked into the room to see the Flash eating a nauseating amount of sandwiches, Kid Flash looking as though he were about to do similar, and Artemis and the new team member talking in the kitchen. He walked to the fridge and pulled out a bottle of water as well.

Kid Flash ignores them both as he grabs a huge stack of sandwiches and an energy drink from the fridge.

He then joins his uncle at the table and starts chowing down on the stack.

Nightmare sat on the counter, hearing the question being asked towards him. He gave Artemis a golden eyed gaze."Batman was taken."He answered jokingly. He lifted up a hand and an orb of pulsing darkness appeared floating just centimeters above it."I can control darkness, that is why. I am older than I look."

Artemis' eyes widened only slightly at the orb and she looked into his piercing eyes. It was an interesting power, and she couldnt' help but look forward to seeing how it was in battle. But that last comment tempted her curiosity but Superboy beat her to the question.

"How old are you then?" he asked seriously.

Nightmare dispelled the orb by squeezing it, making it shatter and vanish. He glanced over at Superboy and then thought for a moment."As long as I can remember, I have been alive since Ankhemuten's time..I was a war general."

[K.F. (Kid Flash)]

"So I'm lost...do you not mind telling everyone your secret ID anymore?" Kid Flash asks his uncle as he inhales another sandwich.
