1.What is Mystery Lyoko Theater 3000?
Mystery Lyoko Theater 3000 is a Open Source MST3k/CL Crossover fanproduction, in which CL characters play the parts.

2.What is MST3k?

Mystery Science Theater 3000 is a Comedy Television show which premiered on KTMA 23 (now a CW affiliate) on thanksgiving 1988, moved the the Comedy Channel in 1989, Comedy Central in 1991 and the Sci-fi Channel in 1997. The main premise is about a janitor, Joel Robinson (and later on temp worker, Mike Nelson) who is shot into space by two mad scientists, forced to participate in a bizarre movie watching experiment of having to watch the worst B-movies of all time. Joel builds robots friends to keep him company on the vessel marooned in, the Satellite of Love. He used the parts that control when the movies begin and end, so he has no control over when he must enter the ships theater. Two of the bots, Tom Servo and Crow T. Robot, join Joel/Mike in the theater. The movie takes up the meat of the episode(each show without commercials is around 90min), with Joel/Mike and the bots making fun of the movie they are forced to watch in a peanut gallery style commentary(called riffing, see terminology below). The three are seen on the bottom of the screen sitting in a shilloute of movie theaters. 3 times during the movie, the three are allowed to exit the theater(the movie still playing while they are gone) are participate in skits known as host segments.

3.Terminology

Commercial Sign- Announced during host segments by the ships AI Magic Voice when a commercial break is about to happen, the yellow status lights go off
Mad Sign-The red status lights go off on the ships bridge when the mads call
Movie Sign- when this happens, the ship shakes, a alarm goes off and all status lights in the bridge go off
Hex Sign-Blue status lights go off, a call on the hexfield viewscreen
Hexfield Viewscreen- a viewscreen used by the SOL crew to talk to visitors
SOL-the Satellite of Love, the Doggy-Bone shaped space station the show takes place on
Mystery Science Theater- the theater on the ship that the bulk of the show takes place in.There is a air grate at the entrance which prohibits hoverskirts to work correctly.
Door Sequence- Cambot(XANA) travels through 6 doors to the theater by floating through a long hallway that is the length of the ship

4.What would be the connection of MST3k to CL
Some Background into why (obvious AU shit here)

Academy was actually a private school ran by Gizmonic Institute. The
Institute had a pen pal program back in the late 80's. Mrs. Hertz pen
pal was the infamous(but not at the time) Dr. Clayton Deborah Susan
Forrester. Throughout the years,even after Dr. Forrester's exile to Deep
13, the two exchanged letters, Suzanne talking about her teaching job
and Dr. F with his experiments on Joel Robinson(later on Mike Nelson)
and dealing with the lovable oaf TV's Frank. 6 weeks after Thanksgiving in 1996,
Dr. Forrester stops sending letters. For years, Suzanne thought that he
had forgot her. Then in Spring of 1999, Suzanne receives a letter from
Dr. F's mother, Pearl Forrester, informing her that Clayton died, and
that she was mailing his stuff to her(since she was the only benefactor
in the will). After reading through all of his stuff, Suzanne decides to
continue his movie watching experiments. She recruits the principal and
the gym teacher to help her recreate the Satellite of Love.

On
Turkey day 2011 , approximately 24 years since the movie watching
experiment began, the mads shoot Jeremie Belpois into space. His friends
were captured, and for all Jeremie knows, they're dead. Using parts
from the ship, he creates robots and embues them with the personalities
(he had a usb on him, where it was is a secret) of his friends. he wasn't
able to make a ulrich bot due to not having enough parts. Unaware to
him, the cambot that the mads had on the ship is XANA(who can't really
hurt them or face death by the mads.
5.Why/how is this project open source?

The fan production is worked voluntary on by not only MST3k fans but also CL fans. The script is made available to edit, and the movie in which the show is featuring is available on youtube.

6.Can we follow Development?
