Aelita has been freed from the clutches of X.A.N.A. Or at least, that was what we thought. Upon further inspection it was discovered that Aelita was now connected to X.A.N.A. via a virus, leaving it still alive deep within the Supercomputer, and Aelita still tethered as well. Unable to sacrifice Aelita to defeat X.A.N.A. , the Warriors renew their resolve and prepare to continue their fight for Earth.

But now.....
Now it is lunch time in the cafeteria, and Rosy is serving meatballs. It's just a shame that Yumi had other things to do.

And welcome to the rp, one and all. Most of you already have signed up, so from this start point feel free to go from here. I will be taking the role of X.A.N.A. , initiating attacks as well as responding to your actions as necessary.

Atm, we have no Yumi, so we'll try to just work without her. As for OC's, I'm sure you guys can be creative and find your way into it. Otherwise, have fun ^.^

Alright, with everyone mostly accounted for, we will begin. I've let you free-rp for now, but now I'll be highlighting the basics.

From now on, we will follow a basic format. Italics will be used for thoughts, quotes will be used for dialogue, and code will be used for OOC discussion, should you need to post it here and not in the sign up and discussion thread.

The RP will be divided into two sections, Free Rp and Missions. Free Rps is what we had just now, where you are free to say and do whatever you want(within reason), and Missions will be guided rping, where you're trying to accomplish some objective. The indications for transistions between the two will be [Free] and [Mission. Now we will make a transition to mission mode.

Aelita was running through the woods. Occasionally looking back and then kept running forwards. She didn't know what she was running from just yet, but her instincts told her to just keep running. So she did. She had to stop for a moment to grab her breath. Though even for a second she thought that she lost her pursuers. She was wrong. Turning her head again she saw the shadows following her. Though she wanted to run her legs wouldn't work. She was frozen in fear. As the shadows were nearing her they started to reach out for her, but before they could touch her Aelita found herself in her room at Kadic and not in the forest.

She sat there breathing hard, just staring at her hands and looked around to see if they were here also. After one long minute Aelita slowed her breathing down to a normal rate. She knew that they weren't here. She curled her knees to her chest and just sat there. It was dark outside so she knew she couldn't talk to the others without disturbing the other students. It has been a few days since she was first materialized and told that she can live on Earth. The other Lyoko Warriors have slowly been explaining different functions of a normal human life. The way that they described it, these... dreams... that she has been having are supposed to be enjoyable and happy. The ones she has been having are the exact opposite. She stared at her hands for another few minutes before trying to get some more sleep before she got up and got ready for school. Though her sleep wasn't a restful one.

The next morning Aelita slowly got ready for school. She seemed off of it through all of her classes. Though she was thankful that the teachers seemed to ignore her untill lunch. After grabbing her food she sat down at the usual table waiting for the others. She was quiet today, still a bit shooken about her "dream" last night. She just pushed he food around waiting for the others to arrive.

Natsuyuki was walking around in the park shortly after lunch. He was bored, and the only friends he had were Yumi and Hiroki, and both of them were on a family trip back to Japan. Just his luck that when he finally came to France to live, Yumi and Hiroki would go vist their grandparents in Japan. He was at the crossroads and he heard a howl, like a wolf. He decided it would be a good thing to go in the opposite direction and after walking a while, he found an old, spooky, abandoned house in the woods that looked like it held hundreds of faded memories. The sign on the fence said Hermitage.

Kely moved to France due to her father's work place and is now attending Kadic.

Kely just finished class and is now ordering some food at the cafeteria and sat next to Sissi and talked about some stuff while looking at Ulrich and Odd, noting how cute and handsome they are!

It hadn't been an eventful day for Ulrich as of yet. He had science with Mrs. Hertz, followed by a math class this morning. Thanks to his boredom he didn't feel like eating a lot for lunch, having only a small portion of meatballs and placing them on his tray. He took his seat at the usual table he and the rest of the gang sat. He was surprised he was there first, considering how much Odd loved meatballs.

After a minute or two he was certain that Yumi had finished her classes. He looked through a nearby window, and wondered when she would arrive.

Aelita just sat there and sighed, moving her food around but not eating it. She turned her head sharply thinking that it was a shadow from her dream. She relaxed when she saw that it was Ulrich. Then returned to pushing her food around. She couldn't eat because she was too busy thinking of her dream from last night. She kept looking around for Jeremy. She wanted to ask Jeremy her question considering the fact that he would loose sleep just to explain the real world to herself.

She put her fork down and pushed it away from herself the turned to Ulrich.

Ulrich, can I ask you a question?

She asked him softly. The reason being the fact that only the "gang" knows about her true origins. So she didn't want her question overhead by anyone that didn't know about it. She put her arms on the table and slid herself forward. Enough that she was comfortable but not enough to disturb anyone who would take a seat infront of her.

Ulrich turned his head, hearing Aelita's voice. She was a nice girl, despite being stuck in the virtual world for a long time. The amount escaped his mind, but he didn't care. As long as she was there with the group, she'll be all right. He kept on telling himself that.

However, he wasn't a counselor sort of person, as much as he'd liked to help people. Making sure Aelita was happy during her time on Earth was one of his priorities.

What is it Aelita? Is something bothering you?

Natsuyuki stood in front of the Hermitage, mentally debating if he should go in or not.

Maybe I shouldn't. It could be haunted, it could have cameras and booby-traps, it could have mold and mildew and snakes and spiders and...

Shut up! Just go inside! If it's haunted, deal with it! If it has cameras and booby-traps, be careful. You're not allergic to mold and mildew anyway and you could just bring a can of bug spray. You see a snake, back away slowly. Make sure to remember the word slowly. Not fast,slowly.Got it?

Ok, I'm going in for 5 minutes. Nothing can possibly go wrong in that amount of time.

Natsuyuki pushed the gate, and surprisingly enough, it opened easily. He walked up to the stairs to the front door and knocked. It opened up and he saw another staircase. Halfway up the staircase he heard somebody playing the piano from the den and decided to check it out. When he looked, nobody was there, and the piano looked like it couldn't possibly have been making music. So he went back up the staircase and saw a room with pink walls and another room with grey walls. Both were bedrooms and he decided to go into the grey one.

The grey bedroom had hundreds of documents on the floor, and most of them had been torn, shredded, and ripped up. But somehow, they were readable. It interested him, so he picked one up. The paper read:

Anthea Hopper's diary IV; Page 40

This is the latest page in the diary. I've been keeping since Aelita was born. She got a brand new bike today and went out to ride it. Our home here in the mountains is so wonderful, it's a perfect place to raise our little girl. Aelita, she reminds me so much of my sister, Susie. I hope Aelita comes back soon, so all three of us can eat hot chocolate. My husband quit working for that old government agency, and we're all so happy now! I feel as if this time of good memories will never end, as if I can overcome anything!

This is the last page in the diary of Anthea Hopper. On the day this was written, she was sucessfully captured by our agents. It appears she knows nothing of Project Carthage, just like you said. However,we can still use her for blackmail, psychological warfare, and scare tactics. Presently, we are not going to kill her.

Aelita sighed and weakly nodded her head. Dropping her tone again so only the people at the table could hear her,

Yes there is Ulrich...

She had to pause for a moment to figure out what she as going to say to him. After figuring out what she was going to say Aelita continued on.

On my first school day, Yumi mentioned dreams and how they are suposed to be well.... happy. For the last few nights they were the exact opposite.

She had to stop for a minute to reassure herself that they weren't real before continuing on. Though she had difficulty for a minute or two just trying to be able to speak again. When she was able to she looked at Ulrich,

Is there something wrong with me? Is it because of my origins?

Aelita desperately asked in her softer tone. She looked really concerned at the moment.

Ulrich had no clue how to answer most of her questions. As far as he knew, she was from the supercomputer, and Jeremie managed to materialize her into a physical human form. He thought he would be the last person to hear of Aelita's problems, considering she was a lot closer to Jeremie and Yumi.

He thought about how he could answer her. He didn't think Aelita was dumb, but probably a little bit naive to her surroundings. Ulrich wanted to treat her the same way as other people, so he responded to the question as best as he could.

Those 'unhappy' dreams are what we call nightmares. After having one, we would feel scared and move on. But people don't have the same nightmare a few nights in a row.... I think Jeremie would be able to figure out if it's related to your origins or not. Speaking of your nightmare, what happened in it?

After I finished my food, I started to take my tray and walk past the gang. I say hello to Ulrich and Odd, and put my tray at the counter and leave with Sissi.

Natsuyuki walked in his room and saw William wasn't there.

He said to himself. About 5 minutes later, he was in the hallway of the Hermitage.

So, he went upstairs. He didn't really read the papers. He just picked them up and sorted them by date. By the end of lunch period he was done with that room and tomorrow, he'd start cleaning up and move on to the pink bedroom.

Aelita was playing with her feet under the table. She sighed and looked at Ulrich,

Well it wasn't always the same. Though there were small differences. But each time I was running in the woods from something. Each night the creatures got closer. Last night was the first time that they actually got near me. I couldn't move in order to get away. I was just frozen. Though I couldnt see what it was. All I saw was shadows that were following me.

She told him very uneasily.

She constantly was looking around to see if they were coming for her. But nothing came. Well, except students passing by. Though that didn't reassure her; not in the slightest. Aelita was shaking at this point out of fear. She didn't know if something was wrong with her. Is it Xana? Is he using our link to scare me? No, none of this is real. I'm just overreacting. Aelita tried to slow her breathing. Though it didn't work. She was still shaking and constantly looking around.

Why does it say 1994,Day 2546?There aren't that many days in a year...and wait...what's this?

Natsuyuki asked himself, pulling out a birth certificate.

November 3,1980. Aelita Anthea Schaeffer...wait, isn't a girl at this school named Aelita Anthea? What's her last name? Why is her birth certificate in the bag of papers...I dont remember picking it up...

I have to show her this!

He said out loud,and he ran to Aelita's room.

Ulrich didn't know what to make of the nightmare, except that it was clearly suspicious why it was reoccurring. He saw Aelita trembling before him. He could understand why too. The monsters were getting closer each night. Perhaps there was going to be a significant day coming up soon, but which day, only Aelita would know.

I think we need to speak to Jeremie about this. I don't know about your link with XANA and all, but I have a feeling it the nightmares are part of it. Do you want me to call him now?

Deep in the park next to Kadic Academy, a cloud of black smoke roams around, looking for prey. Moving between the trees with perfect skill, it scours until it notes a single student walking the pathway. A middle-schooler, from the looks of it. With the location of a suitable host, the shadows lies in wait till the girl passes by...

With her back turned, the smoke makes its move, and with little resistance finds her way into the unsuspecting human's body. A few seconds later and the Spectre is ready to start it's mission.

It quickly begins heading towards the school.

Odd arrived at the table with a plate full of meatballs along with some pop and exclaims

Hey guys how's it going?

He then sits next to Ulrich and starts to chow down on his plate of meatballs.

You're a bit late, we were just about to call Jeremie about something. That's if Aelita is okay with it.

He stared in disgust with how Odd was consuming his food, like an animal. Although, with all the nightmare talk, he began to have a bad feeling he couldn't put his finger on...
